Clean room and staff was great. Breakfast was ok too.
Alon
I’ve never posted a negative comment but as soon as I lifted the toilet seat I could see the toilet was disgustingly dirty and clearly had not been cleaned. Very disturbing and made me question the cleanliness of the entire room. Was only staying one night and showed a picture I took to the front desk employee who said he was certain I would hear back regarding my complaint from management. It’s now over 24 hours later, but I have not heard from anyone. Other reviews are generally better which is why I chose the hotel so hopefully this was just a one time thing.
Rick
We have stayed at this hotel several times, coming up to St. Augustine for doctor and dental appointments. Lived in St. Augustine for over 30 years but now moved to the Ft. Myers area. Generally this hotel is kept in good condition, the breakfast buffet is above average except for the watered down apple and orange juice. They have one excellent and very friendly employee, her name is Carina. She is always talkative and makes you feel welcome here. Then there is another employee, Sabr___. who acts as if it is an inconvenience for us to come in, does not say hello or can I help you. Instead she just says \"give me your drivers license\" as we walk to the counter. What a WORLD of difference in employees!! The only other complaint is we went to the breakfast buffet early this time, about 6:15, you would have thought the trash cans would be empty to start breakfast but they were still full from the night before. Not much for planning there.
Evgueni
Just a average run of the mill hotel. OK to stay overnight, but that's it. Noting really worth mentioning. Breakfast is very basic.
Ashley
There were roaches in the room amd lobby. I got my money back and didn't not stay.
Joseph
Spent the night after a concert at the amphitheater and it worked out perfectly. Clean room, clean place, good price, nice employees. I would book again
john
Nice place
T
Front desk was very kind but this hotel definitely needs a renovation.
Barry
Older rooms that have been painted over . The ratings of 10 of 10 must have been from services that were paid to rate this place highly if you’re looking for an inexpensive room then this is for you otherwise move on.
Libdeny
The hair dryer wasn’t working and the hotel look old. There was not many channels on the tv nothing about soccer.
Lori
Clean, safe, great price and BREAKFAST!

Traveling, was great.woud stay again.
Ana
The staff was helpful and cordial. The rooms were not bad, for the price especially. it was good. There was a very strong cleaning product smell when we walked into the room, FABULOSO.
They had breakfast included- fresh waffles, eggs, cereal. Again for the price it was good. Small fridge, in room coffee pot. It was just not a luxury hotel, but one to spend the night and keep driving wherever you are going.

Todo estuvo súper bueno, muy limpio y su personal muy atento,lo único que mejoraría sería la variedad en el desayuno, por lo demás lo recomiendo 100%

Pros: Room was clean and comfortable. Staff were very friendly and helpful.
Cons: Parking was crowded. We had to park several spaces away from our room which was pretty inconvenient for my wife who has issues walking sometimes especially after sitting in the car for a long time.

It is a motel, so people will smoke outside your door.

Checking was smooth, room was acceptable, changed our clothes, left for dinner. Got settled in, tv says not connected to internet, tried several things still no tv. Then the smoke detector beeps a beep, about a minute later beeps again, does it again, call to front desk, he comes up takes out battery, does it again. He disconnected wires, it beeps again, he takes beeping with him. Rest of our stay was good.
Ana
Room was clean and nice
Kristen
This is a very convenient hotel and very reasonable for the price. I was traveling for work and felt very comfortable here, they also tidied the room each day and kept the towels filled, which I really appreciated. I would definitely stay here again!
JoeAnn
Rooms felt dirty & breakfast hardly qualified as breakfast. It was okay- but i would not recommend this facility.
Jennifer
The property was tired, in particular the bathroom. Tiles were aged, paint on doors cracking, shower insight stained, and the ceiling height was low, making you feel a bit trapped.
Bonnie
Check in was easy. Sabrina took care of me very professionally she was so nice. The room was very clean. Property was clean. I would definitely stay there again.

Breakfast is limited, but i guess all hotels use the same system.

Too much noise, people talking loud in the breezeways till late at night

Maria
Basic hotel
Anita
Very dated, one of the beds had stains and hair on sheets. Breakfast is very basic. Good location, close to outlets. Would not stay again.
Norka
Nice hotel
DENIXA
Excellent service, super clean and very close to San Marcos st, super recommender
Gerald
Its about not getting a car as I lost my wallet and my refund
Edith
It was nicely located close to everything. Staff was very nice. Weather was cold so I could not enjoy the pool, but it looked lovely and clean. Breakfast was good variety. Room was clean when we arrived. We had a small issue with room and we were immediately re-located to a new one without any issues. We had a three night stay only thing that bothered us was another person staying with an insanely loud motorcycle sound type truck every morning at 6:30 waking everyone up.

Our room was at the top of the stairs - we heard everyone who came up. Occupants of room next door came home after midnight, were very loud and hung out outside on the upstairs walkway smoking oot and making noise very late at night. Experience overall was miserable and we got no sleep.
Daniel
Bed linens were clean but stained. Big gap under the door.
steve
Very pleased stay.
dan
Just couldn't get past the too strong bleach smell!
Karla
The AC made noises, there was a stain in lamp shade that looked like blood but front desk claims otherwise. Breakfast was ok, we only did one night because the hotel we booked for spring break was booked to add one more night. Value for room we got not worth it.
Natacha
The room was a bit run down and the majority of the towels in the bathroom had stains on it.
grace
Clean room great location pool and lake in back.
I will be returning to this location.

The people basically left me alone. I mean, they did come to safe House checking out two minutes before it was time to check out, but other than that, it was very comfortable and quiet. Everything worked fine. I would stay there again. I like that brand quality inn
Kristin
We had our pet with us and we were put into a filthy filthy filthy room. Not only were the floors disgusting, the toilet had not been cleaned, there was dirt and hair in the tub, and the sink was gross.
When I went up to the office to request a change, we were told that that is a pet friendly room and that’s why it smells that way. Are you kidding me?
They moved us into another room, and that one smelled like cigarette smoke. The front desk had to come in and spray something in there to “take the odor out”.
Absolutely unacceptable!!

Room was clean, staff was alright 4/5. My family loves breakfast, the was expecting meat to be available for breakfast but that’s just me being picky
Alejandro
Nice staff. Good overall bedroom. Bathroom is due for renovation.
Rosa Maria
Very friendly staff, clean rooms, comfortable bed.
A microwave in the breakfast nook would be helpful.
Something as simple as plain yogurt would be of benefit for visitors such as myself, who can’t eat certain fruits and could not find any plain yogurt.
Not an important thing, but would be nice.
Am I being picky?
Maybe.
Overall, a good two nights rest, and convenient to St. Augustine’s tourist area.

Room was old and needed repairs - shower head coming off the wall - floor needed mopping - our socks were filthy - toilet paper was terribly thin
James
The only negative I have is that it doesn’t have an elevator. But ingest the guy at the front desk said he would take my luggage upstairs. The location is right beside I-95 so it’s a quick on and off the interstate. We took an Uber into Saint Augustine. It cost us about $20 and I figure parking was gonna be about that much. Anyway we didn’t have to look for a parking place, and the driver offered great advice about places to eat dinner. We settled on the Prohibition Kitchen and weee not disappointed. Definitely the way to go. We had a little trouble with our TV connecting to YouTube, but Tino came up and fixed it. He was knocking on my door almost before I could get my pants on. I would definitely stay there again.

Staff were friendly and efficient. Room was basic and clean. Breakfast options for hot meal were lacking unless you wanted toast, waffles or biscuits
Paula
Great hotel for the price paid! Near outlet mall.

Clean and perfect for traveling with dogs. Great area to walk them to go the bathroom outside and generally good overall
Stacey
Basic room but that is all I needed. Park right by your room. No nightlight. Noisy bathroom fan. Breakfast was your typical free hotel breakfast with waffles. No housekeeping during your stay. Not many amenities. I'd give it a 3.5 if the review would allow.
Pam
Clean room and nice staff.
LAUREN
Beds need replaced. Very hard and feel springs. Sheets had stains and holes
Barbara
Great location.
Matthew
Staff was very good, but the room could have been cleaner. Bathroom in need of updating.
Lucinda
No issues. The room is as pictured, some areas show the building is older, but it is clean with good upkeep. Breakfast was good. Slept well.
Julio
There was no room service. I booked the room for 5 days, and it does not include the room service for short days, seriously? What is considered a long day? Our room was dirty for the 4 days, except for new towels. The night Front Desk was extremely rude. The experience was not bad, but they must check the room services.
Victoria
Property old and worn. Bathroom small and lacks modern comforts. Cable TV continued to disconnect from internet. Staff was pleasant, but I would not stay here again.

It a good hotel just for one night. Rooms clean staff friendly.

Staff was very kind and helpful when our travel plans failed. Our plane landed very late and we could not check in until after 3am. Area was quiet and clean. Rooms were clean and beds were comfortable. My only suggestion would be to spruce up your very carb filled breakfast with some other options. Bisquits and waffles do not work for people who do not eat carbs. We were there for 3 days... no eggs in any form, no bacon ... just waffles and gravy biscuits every day.
Ramon
Friendly staff and clean rooms, close to 95 and a short drive to old town St Agustin

The staff was courteous and the room was cleaned. Excellent location; a place when many families spend the time together. I would replace the microwaves in room and the coffee maker as they were not cleaned and looked very old. I also would suggest to add another waffle maker in the cafeteria to ease the line in the morning. Overall, we had a comfortable experience.

The room was clean. The bed is really uncomfortable. The included breakfast isn’t bad, not a lot of choices, but a decent amount including fresh waffles. Lots of construction going on outside on the road so lots of late night noise/loud beeping and lights. Staff was very friendly.
Javier
The stay was great for 1 night check in fast , really close to everything!! The only thing is the breakfast its ok but not enough!!! But I’ll stay again

It was ok, but not great for quality sleep. Lots of noisy trucks outside. Bathroom fan was super loud (needs replacing) and turned on with light so it was like an alarm clock every time someone went to bathroom

If you advertise 100% smoke free then I shouldn’t have to be asked smoking or non smoking. There also shouldn’t be marijuana smoke either. We woke up to shower only to find out the shampoo and conditioner were completely out. Would’ve called the front desk but I was already wet.
cheri
Nice staff, lobby is clean and average. Guest room was truly awful. Old, run down, not maintained, dirty. Really not what i expected. Woukd never recommend to travelers.
Nick
Didn’t spend the night.. walked out. Cockroaches and bed bugs

For only one night...!!!
Motel feel and not in walking distance of an outlet. Clean and well appointed rooms. Nice touch to have a refrigerator in each room as many tier 2 hotels charge extra for similar. Entry doors need painting. Flagler students woul probably put on two coats annually inexpensively. Rooms are $80.00 per night Monday through Thursday and higher over the weekend as of 08/31/2025. The photos online from the pool are misleading and we were told not reservation or confirmation was needed to park. Outside of the children running around at night and someone constantly checking to hear that there vehicle was locked (beep, beep, beep three times per hour) it was a safe stay.
