We loved this hotel- room was spacious and very clean with lovely view over golf course. Nice bar and restaurant, nice breakfast and friendly staff. Easy parking. My only issue was the midgie insects around (like mosquitos) that seemed to find me several times in my room, and bit me all night. Such a small thing. My husband loved the gym and we had several swims and spas which is well run. Good location.

Large rooms with a massive TV. I don't know why it's so big. It would have been better if it was smaller but a smart TV.
The shower was weak but it all looked fairly new. So I dont know why it is lacking power.
The hotel is a good standard apart from the Spa changing rooms. It felt unclean and for some reason the men's changing area smelt like pee.
The pie in the hotel restaurant was ok but not worth the £18 and the pub almost attached is very basic for food but all both gave wonderful service.
All the staff where wonderful and the breakfasts buffet was good and in a nice setting where there was plenty of space and no overcrowding.

We had problems with our shower, with broken handles, could not set the right temperature. The bathroom needs updating. On arrival, we were told they did I not have anything else available, which was not true. The Receptionist simply did not want to help…the staff at the Bar& Restaurant were very good & friendly. The food was very good 😊

The staff were very friendly at check-in, the chocolate chip cookie was a nice little extra too! The reception area was lovely and overall the hotel looked nice however, unfortunately our room and bathroom were quite small with a few cleanliness/hygiene issues (e.g., hairs on towels) and some repairs needed in the room (bottom of the shower was coming away from the wall, paint peeling etc). Overall, it was a fine stay for one night as we were attending an event nearby but not sure I’d stay for much longer and do think it was quite expensive for what you get.

Room was clean apart from the mould around the window. Staff were lovely. Breakfast was ok for people who ate full english and pastries. My gluten free station was just beige. The downfall was that it is advertised with room service and says 24hour. On the Friday I wasn't well so my partner stayed in with me and wanted something brought to the room but we were told that they had no staff for room service. He was then offered a bar snack but he would have to go and collect it and then he was told he only had twenty minutes to decide. He decided not to. He ended up ordering a deliveroo which really wasn't what he wanted at all.

The room was great , but the breakfast was atrocious. Queuing up to get coffee with one machine broken and the staff in the restaurant with dinner serving was so appalling that we waited 45mins to an hour to get served. We had to rally around them but the fact that they wiped the bill was a nice bit of compensation.

The car parking arrangement is the most terrible as it carried out some work and requested customers to move their car out before 9am the next day. And there is no parking lot around that area.
The hotel room shower enclosure is loose and almost fell down. No one goes to check before assigning the room to guests.
And it's a bit noisy as the next room was drilling something.
The swimming pool is very crowed, one lane closed for swimming lesson, water is not very hygiene.
Very unlikely to choose to stay this hotel again and recommend to others. It also affects my impression to all hotels under Hilton group. It's terrible experience

A good stay, the reception staff were attentive and our dog was made to feel welcome. The room was large, far larger than most hotels. We stayed in October the room was rather warm at night, we tried to get the air conditioning running but no luck. I was told the following morning that it was only available in the Summer. Parking on site was good, no issues finding a space in the weekend we stayed. All in all a very good value stay.

We had a lovely stay. We arrived earlier than expected but used the leisure facilities, unfortunately no disabled changing room only disabled toilets. We later checked in. We had stayed here previously and we were aware of the amount of stairs. As I have a disability we asked for a room which was more accessible. We were give a upgrade to room 405 and able to park close to the room, no steps or stairs. Room spacious and clean, very comfortable bed. There were bath robes but no slippers. Location and parking excellent, easy drive into Cheltenham. Breakfast was excellent except that the uncut bread was not replenished, no decaf cappuccino in the drinks machine. There was cooked meats but no tomato or cucumber available. We would definitely stay again.

Lovely hotel and pool spa facilities, nice touch to receive cookies as we checked in although we had to ask for them! I was surprised to be charged a service charge when ordering drinks at the bar! And the water temp kept changing when showering, didn’t use the restaurant but the clock tower next door offered very reasonably priced meals.

The hotel and facilities were very good. The staff were excellent and worked very hard to make our stay perfect. However I booked a meal in the restaurant for 20:00 and was still waiting for starter at 21:15. In the end I cancelled the mail course. The following day for breakfast I ordered an omelette and this took over 45 minutes to be served. And finally when checking out it took over 20 minutes due to lack of staff.

All hotel EV chargers out of service. Found fast chargers elsewhere. Room was a long walk from reception: room numbers over 299 a significant walk from reception/ dining/ pool including up and down stairs when going back and forth. My rating is 8 out of 10 overall.

The staff were lovely; very friendly and helpful. However there didn’t seem to be enough of them, for example, we had lunch in the bar when we arrived as we were a little early to check in. Several others were also eating at the same time. We later checked in, went to our room, went for a walk and then returned to the bar (at least 1 hour later) and at least 3 tables had still not been cleared. We also had an issue with the toiletries in the bathroom, both the hand wash and shower gel were empty, we told reception but they were not refilled during our entire stay.
On a positive note, parking was easy and reasonably priced. There is a bus stop 200 yards down the road for easy access to Cheltenham centre.

We had a lovely night at this hotel when attending one night at the 2000 Trees festival nearby. The girl at front desk was very friendly and helpful. We used the gym, pool, sauna and steam rooms. All were very clean. Our room was soa ious enough for 3 adults. The air con was very welcome in the 30 degree heat outside and the beds were super comfy. We would not hesitate to come back.

With a lake and stream and woodland. I enjoyed hearing the Tawny Owls hooting just behind the hotel, and seeing the Grey Wagtails taking food to their nest by the lake. The staff were friendly and helpful. Good to have electric vehicle charging on site too!

We were so looking forward to our stay as it was planned as some luxury around cheaper forms of accommodation. The first room we were put in had an air con unit outside the window which was noisy and reception kindly moved us to another room. I was really looking forward to having the room serviced daily however this didn’t happen. One day I left the “come back later” sign on the door (presuming it was requesting the housekeepers to come later in the day, after we left. No one came. The next day I asked a housekeeper to clean the room and I was told I will need to go to reception and request it, which I thought was odd but didn’t have time to go as I was in a rush. The next day the towels were changed only after my partner specifically requested it. Otherwise, the property is lovely in a beautiful location.

Lovely hotel but not a place to stay with a baby

Hotel is in a lovely location, looks better in photos than in person, a bit dated in places. The beds are really hard and uncomfortable too. The service from bar and breakfast colleagues was really good. My biggest gripe is that there was no lifts for us to use. We were put 2 floors down from reception and had to carry a baby and all our bits pushchair etc down or up 2 flights of stairs every time we wanted to do something. Staff just watched us each time we saw them with no offer of help. Really poor accessibility for people with babies or disabled as steps everywhere. They have ancient manual lifts which you aren’t allowed to use and have to find a colleague for, who are never around when you need them. Ridiculous in this day and age, you must sort this out as I would not stay again based on this as It ruined our stay. Need to apply logic when a booking comes through given the access issues.

Room was small but okay. The bed was very comfy. However the en-suite was very small the basin was tiny because of the lack of space and was in the way of the toilet. Shower cubicle was very small and the levers hit each other. So when you turned the water on the lever was in the way of the temperature adjustment. I guess they put me in that room because I was a single traveller. Breakfast was nice. I won’t be recommending it to anyone which is a shame because it was recommended to me by a colleague so I imagine the other rooms are better. However I will not be going back. The staff were lovely. They told me the reason the en-suite was cramped was because that side of the building was listed.

It is a nice hotel in a good location with some faded glamour to it. Great sized room, though it is a bit of a walk if your room is in the 400s! The big down side was the Spa was very much in need of repair, showers out of order, toilets as well. Also if you want treatments make sure you book them before you arrive, there is very limited space.

Staff are all pleasant and helpful. The facilities are wonderful clean and easy to use. Only one downside there is no lift to facilitate anyone with disabilities to the different levels.
Absolutely perfect for our needs though and will be going back.

Room was comfortable but am alarm went off at 4am in our room duty manager couldn't stop it in the end my husband found a switch in the cupboard that turned it off.
It wasn't a fire alarm , Google suggested an intruder alarm.
Terrible night and our first night away without the kids in 5 years, absolutely gutted.
Lots of stairs to rooms so not good for less abled.

Conditions of leisure facilities not up to the usual Hilton standard. 2 of the 3 showers in the mens changing area ‘out of service’ with the 3rd one only giving out freezing water. The pool water was also too cold.
Bedroom was comfortable and clean.
