I like this hotel and always stay when in the area. I was given a larger room than normal, but it did smell of smoke. I was offered a room change, which I declined as I couldn't be bothered by this time to move. Housekeeping came up and sprayed the room and opened the windows.
Room had 2 x double beds and behind lift area so was nice and quiet, could do with a towel rail near to the vanity unit. Staff always pleasant.

The shower was poorly maintained: the shower head and the base of the glass enclosure appeared unhygienic. Accessing the curtains required climbing over the single bed.

Every hotel in the world should have staff like them. They were so outstanding in their presentation at the front desk especially Disha, she helped us with all we needed to know about London and made our stay so sweet and memorable at Double Tree. Nashid on reception was friendly and really lovely. We checked in a couple of hours after check in time started and the room we booked wasnt available anymore. We were offered a similar room and free breakfast which we accepted. The breakfast was amazing. A very good selection. The room was clean and beds very comfortable. Staff all very friendly.

When a hotel changes the standard
There is nothing I have but splendid words for this hotel. Utterly amazing and the service was just on point. Even late calls to room service were treated with the same attention you’d expect during the day. The room was completely as advertised to the T, coupled with a nice viewing selection, kettle and cups for a late night drink and so much pleasantries. I’d definitely stay again

Use Doubletrees often and this one is below par - uninterested and uncourteous check in, 2 towels for 3 of us, shower gel empty. Nice properly but no one seemed like they could be bothered. Better choices for the money.

Overall a great experience. We arrived early intending only to drop our bags off and they let us check in early as a room was ready. They were thoughtful about the hot weather and handed us bottles of water without us needing to ask.
Room was quiet and clean, not huge with the extra bed for our son but big enough for a short stay. It’s in a lovely area which feels like it has and is being refurbished all around the hotel. Only a couple of mins walk to Imperial Wharf Overground station - great to get to Westfield Shopping. Not quite so well connected to underground but not horrendous. If you like coffee Mrs Bee Coffee is a two min walk round the corner in Park Street and is wonderful.
My only criticism is breakfast. It was very average and despite being quite prompt after it started everything in the buffet felt like it had been sitting there quite a while.
Overall didn’t diminish a good stay.

We booked two rooms well in advance . One for myself and wife and one for our adult children. We were able to check in one room at 2.00pm and were advised the other room would be ready at 3.00pm. We informed the reception that we were going to Hyde park for a Stevie Wonder concert and would be back at 11.45 ish. On returning to the hotel they informed us that they were now overbooked by four rooms. We were tired and not impressed wirh this at all. We were offered another hotel for half of our party! After a while the receptionist eventually came up with an available room. I won’t be staying at this hotel again as our booking was not honoured and we felt like they were doing us a favour when they eventually found an available room.

Disappointed there was no drinking/bottled water in the room. The biscuits on arrival from check in staff were fabulous! We ran out of tissues on first day and they were never topped up. Very well supplied with shower gel, hair shampoo and conditioner and body lotion. Overall, really enjoyed the stay and we liked the hotel. Stayed once before when we were going to Wimbledon..

The exterior of the hotel is fine. Inside was another story. The second floor where our room was had stained hallway carpets as well as in the room. We had two beds and because the hotel was filled we could not get a second luggage rack. The shelf for suitcase in the closet was less than half the width of the closet so had to turn our suitcase upright and slam. the door to keep it shut. The iron in the closet had water in it which dripped onto one of our jackets. Overall it looked very run down and dingy. The staff however were very pleasant.

Walked in especting a 3 bed room only had a 2 with 3 people meant to be staying in one room. Expedia have since refunded me. But the hotel didn’t really help the situation the room smelt of smoke. This was making my 2 young kids cough.
