At check-in, the lady was not very friendly. I was assigned to a room with a broken lock. I had to go down to the front desk twice before some other dude behind the desk realized that the lock wasn’t working, which means I had to go down from the third floor to the front desk THREE times before they finally reassigned me a room. Again, the lady was not very professional or courteous.

The faucet in my bathroom was broken. The handle kept falling off. Very annoying.

The maid did not fully restock the coffee station in my room.

The best thing about my stay was that the bartenders were good. Not great but decent food.

Overall, I would not stay here again.

we stayed here to play golf. We’ve been here maybe 20 years ago. It just seems like the properties dated the pool is tiny. I mean there’s no reason to come here unless you’re staying to play golf five minutes away, which is what we were doing.

Our room was in desperate need of a makeover. The tub was all scratched up and the towel bar was missing. The wall paper was peeling. There was a knob missing on the credenza, I later found the knob stuffed into an extremely dusty cubby in the desk.
The lobby smell was overwhelming with air fresheners.
We were able to get an early check in (1.5 hours early), perhaps the room was our punishment for an early check in. Very disappointed, not worth the price!

First time at this location wow it’s very old as its last remodel was in 2008. The staff was really nice and made it worth it. The views were also very pretty. The restaurant on site had decent food. However, we enjoyed the hot tub which was very very tiny and when we were Trying to enjoy the hot tub on the evening it was just me and my son and my husband. It’s not like we were partying, but it was very uncomfortable. The maintenance man came out, sat near us like he was waiting for us to leave and then approached us at 10 till close and said hey just so you know it’s closing basically we got kicked out 10 minutes before while being stocked which was very uncomfortable. I mean I understand they need to close it down but why not let people enjoy it until 10 o’clock if that’s when it’s supposed to close. Also the beds are very hard. They definitely need a bed upgrade. Overall it was a nice day, but they definitely need an upgrade and if you’re looking for somewhere that’s going to be nice and new this is not for you. The best part was probably the breakfast buffet. It was amazing outstanding.

I have been a Bonvoy member for years and this was booked as a work trip. This was my first time at The Renaissance Andi expected so much more!!! Normally when I walk into a Marriott room the TV is on, the lights are on and the room is cool. I walked into a dark, hot room that smelled like wet dog! The bathroom was not clean and the sink had sand caked in it. The comforter on the bed was lumpy-just disappointed! I tried ordering room service Thursday night, Friday morning and Friday night-no one answers the phone and the QR code didn't work. Finally Saturday morning I got through to the front desk who took my order to the restaurant. I'm curious: when did room service start getting delivered in to-go boxes?? For this being the World Golf Village and Marriott, this should have been MUCH better!!
On a positive note, the staff was amazing!!

Property is beat down. Room was dirty when I checked in with lots of hair in the shower and bathroom. Shower drain was nearly plugged with hair. Property way overuses deodorizing sprays in common areas so much so that my eyes watered and my nose ran. Gym is better than average, but the equipment is old and poorly maintained. Everything seemed poorly maintained with lots of \"out of service\" signs all over. You are also trapped out here food wise. Only two restaurant choices and they are both mediocre at best. No reason to come here unless you are a golfer? Not sure why else you'd come.

We came last year and it was so nice and clean. This year the room was filthy! I had to clean up a water spill on the tile in our room and the rag was literally black when I wiped it up the morning we got there. Wall paper coming off the walls carpets stained all over the sink in the kitchenette area gurgling and spits brown water while the shower is running. The bartender was so nasty Saturday lunch time. The hot tub was shut down due to violations. No internet. The pool was clean and the rest of the staff was helpful but it was definitely a VERY different experience than last year!

On the surface the place looks fabulous. But since they moved the Hall of Fame it has suffered. The room was dated and smelled but after reading some of recent reviews apparently there all in rough shape. Paint is peeling off the ceiling in bathroom, the furniture is old and falling apart and although the carpet looked clean it smelled. Granted it was a pet friendly room but it need to be cleaned. Its sad because the place was really nice a few years back when we visited. On a positive note the pool was clean.

This place is extremely run down. Carpet was torn up in common areas such as the billiards room, water and mildew stains around building and pool deck area, the hotub was broken (sign saying it was unsafe for guests) which the front desk did not tell us about when we first checked in and when we went to ask about it they had no idea it was even down, the bedroom curtains had red stains on them and were broken, the pillows did not have pillowcases, the food options were poor, frozen Cheney brothers crap (this includes the Caddyshack restuarant option), and the lake had dead fish floating everywhere along the shore and smelled terrible during walk.

The breakfast buffet was great however, good food and price.

We were supposed to be there two nights and we left the next day and found a better hotel in St. Augustine. Would not recommend.

All of the staff were very courteous. However only half of the elevators were working. There was 1 elevator stuck on each side, which made it very difficult and inconvenient especially at check out time. There were no inside stairs, only the emergency exit stairs which led outside to use while carrying several heavy bags and a toddler. Our room didnt have any tissues stocked during check in, and didnt get refilled when they came for housekeeping services. There was also a pair of used socks and a plastic grocery nag underneath the bed, which leads me to believe that they did not thoroughly clean the room beforehand. I enjoyed staying on site with the venue for our event so I woud probably stay here again but would hope the elevator issue was fixed and that the room would be clean and fully stocked.

There was no room service, they never answered our phone call after 20 minutes of trying. A guest was yelling in the lobby after midnight. Multiple guests yelled for them to quiet down and there was no effort from the lobby staff for them to be quiet. I called down to see if there was a policy about quiet hours which was replied no. The bathroom had water damage all over, the wall paper was stapled to the wall and the toilet was not stable. I’ve stayed at motel 6’s that were nicer. ALSO, there was no microwave. All in all do not recommend, will not be back. Find the Hilton down the road.
