Unfortunately, we had a very poor experience. Despite paying $1,900 for a one-night all-inclusive stay, we were charged separately for breakfast the next morning. The explanation given was that all-inclusive coverage ends at midnight, which was never made clear. This policy feels misleading and left a bad impression. I would suggest choosing one of the many other excellent resorts in Puerto Vallarta instead. Very disappointed. Will never come back.

This hotel is very nice, clean and well maintained.The Staff is very friendly, food is delicious.They have differents stunning restaurants.If you want to visit a beach outside the hotel you can board the bus crossing the street next to the hotel, it runs through several beaches and arrives at the Zona Romantica and Muertos Pier.

We had a good time staying at Garza Blanca. Overall I would rate it a 3 out of 5 . It definitely doesn’t have that many activities so if you have children I wouldn’t recommend staying here . The beach is a bit rocky which can be uncomfortable. If you are staying on the lower ground I definitely would recommend to stay on the second floor . We had a rat in our room on our last night and it definitely bummed us out . Food was great , service was okay (seemed slow compared to other resorts that we stayed in ).

The resort has great pool and snorkeling area. The 2 things disappointing are: 1, the kids club. It is super small. Like super small. So there is not attractive to kids and the activity and management is pool. 2. There are only 2 restaurants taking kids and one is far so we basically stay for one restaurant for the whole trip which is so sick to eat the same food over and over again. There are 5 restaurants but three of them are adult only. Which is not family friendly at all. I really think these two parts need to change

The property is beautiful and has everything you need within walking distance. All staff is super kind and helpful and all restaurants are delicious. The only downside was during checkout when they attempted to charge us for premium WiFi (around $250) and did charge us for the on demand movies when it states on their website it is included on the all inclusive plan.

Hotel staff did not do a good job with check-in experience. While we did arrive before check in time, we were still promised that I won’t be ready within an hour a lot of back-and-forth between front desk and valet, ultimately resulting in not checked in to room until hour after check-in time. No concierge service to greet us. No one explained the layout. No one explain the hotel room keys. No one explained where our room was located. because of this I would not be a repeat customer. Ultimately the staff reasoning was because they assumed we were part of a huge wedding party, which we explained to them at check-in we were not.

Beautiful property and grounds, the room was fantastic, and we could watch sunset from our balcony. Housekeeping was very odd, and did not clean properly, we had to keep having them come in after they had ‘cleaned’. THERE IS NO SANDY BEACH. There’s are no sandy beaches on, near, or walkable to the property. It’s all very rocky, and the water is very rocky as well, so water shoes are a must. There are also no running/walking trails, though the gym is breathtaking.
If you go to the timeshare/residence ownership presentation: they will literally stalk you. We did end up buying and the salesperson literally stalked us the entire time we were there. We found out from the valet that he was regularly asking if we were at the pool, or at the restaurant. At one point we were in the water at the beach and saw him waiting for us for an hour! Not talking to anyone else, just waiting for us at the pool. He would constantly WhatsApp trying to join us for breakfast, lunch, take us on day trips. It was very very creepy, especially as we were two women, with 2 kids. That was the only real downside.

Would not recommend if you have children. Dining is extremely limited with only 2 or 3 options. The best restaurants available were adults only which left us eating at the same places over and over again. Not exactly 5 star experience even though we paid 5 star prices!
Also, the sales staff was extremely aggressive. We started calling the area next to the lobby where they were “the kill box” as it was the only passage to the pool and you are forced to pass by them several times a day.
Overall, this might be an option for adults but I would strongly recommend families with younger children explore other options.

The property is fantastic. It’s close to the main downtown. We had a 2 Br panoramic suite, which are great if you are not on the lower floor. We were allotted a lower floor which was surrounded by vegetation. Next day we were moved to a higher floor and it was perfect. The food is great and the service is fantastic.

Roger Garcia at the concierge was amazing. After being mistreated by a sales member Roger turned the horrible experience into a positive one. Sales team needs to understand that not every guess is going to became a member. Not everyone is interested in a membership. All guess should be treated equally rather they are a member or not. With so many amazing resorts I wouldn't stay there again.

This is our second time came to Garza Blanca. The (front desk)concierge supervisor from Hotel Mousai is extremely rude. Because of him we doesn’t go to the Japanese restaurant there. The positive is this is a beautiful property! Beach area is very nice, and views throughout are amazing! Very clean, rooms are also very nice. The negatives we experienced were upon check in after a long day of travel you are pulled aside by “concierge” to try and get you into their version of a timeshare. Takes about 15-20 mins not too bad but still not what you want to deal with when you’re ready to start your vacation. Another thing we noticed was the prime chairs around the pool had “reserved” place cards with family names. This was everyday so it didn’t matter what time you got to the pool. We had a unique experience totally our fault. We realized about 30 mins after checking out that we left our passports & credit cards in the safe! While I was full of anxiety and nearly in tears it took the guy at check out nearly 1 hour to get help. He seemed disinterested and nonchalant about it. Eventually I got help from a young lady who grabbed a key and walked me back to the room. This was our 2nd stay at Garza. Our first visit was lovely and outweighed the location distance to the Malecon and DT PV, this time the negatives and location outweigh the positives and we don’t plan on returning.

This property is meant for more couples and not family oriented. We booked through Expedia that stated they had 7 dining options but of the 7 one is not included in the all inclusive and the other 3 are strictly for adults and out of the 3 where my kids could eat at one of them is closed literally the whole week. We had to eat at the same two restaurants the 5 days we were there. This resort also charges for any extra snacks you may need in your room along with extra water. Management isn’t very helpful either. We spent so much money to stay at this property and yet we were limited to being able to enjoy the resort entirely. Also if you are planning on staying be aware that there is construction going on and some of the rooms are literally facing the construction workers and the noise.

The all inclusive service is not worth. Once you pay $900.00 usd for 3 nights you will be billed another $1000.00 as of food not included in the all inclusive services. They don’t explain to you the type of food you order if its included or not. Plus the menu for the inclusive item ilare very poor and not worth $300.00 a day. Staff tipped them selfs other than us tipping in cash multiple times. You have to pay for wifi service a $100.00 for the stay. No shuttle service to airport as explained in app description.

The hillside hotel is not nearly as relaxing as the decor is a bit chaotic and doesn't really know what it wants to be. Giant chess pieces, gold, silver, checkers... I have no clue what they are going for. But the rooftop is great.
The restaurants are good but not as good as their sister resort in Cabo. The best one we went to was the Chinese restaurant Dao and the rooftop. The drinks are sometimes good, sometimes not. It depends on where you are and when you order. You can order a margarita and it's great and then you order another round and it tasted completely different. Consistency in bar training could help.
The staff was hit or miss. We were assigned a personal conceriage who was hounding us about a membership plan and when we didn't sign up for the presentation we never heard from her again. I think overall this place is too concerned with trying to sell you on a membership and needs to focus more on service.

We received no VIP access or upgrades. Went to dinner Monday evening at Blanca Blue and wife came down with food poisoning and was bedridden the rest of week. This was verified with the hotel’s Doctor. She could not leave room until we flew out on Saturday. In addition service at pool was terrible as the servers catered to the larger crowds. Terrible experience for the amount of money spent. We will be writing more reviews on many sites.

Yes, there is a buy in program, but if you aren't interested, they are not pushy. You can have full ownership of a gorgeous condo, at a high price for those interested in a wonderful gated community lifestyle in PV. We are going back for sure!

This is truly a Five Star Hotel Resort. We really enjoyed our stay and will be going back for sure. We booked all inclusive and I'm glad we did. Food quality was second to none. Multiple restaurants to choose from. (Book as soon as you arrive for days you are staying since they book fast). Excellent service, supper clean, great restaurants, relaxing, multiple infinity pools, free rides un and down to many locations in the resort. We loved Garza Blanca resort and highly recommend it.

The property was alright. I didn’t like how far the gym was or some of the areas where you needed to take a trolly to. I was upset that no one gave us a map when we arrived. We had no idea where anything was other than one restaurant and the pool for a couple days. I also disliked the service. They took so long even if you were the only people at the restaurant. Another issue I had was that they always restocked the mini fridge and snacks but would never leave us water. Service sucked. We went to hangout at the upper pool once we found out about it but no one even came to ask us if we needed anything to drink or anything. There wasn’t many people and we were there for about 30 -45 min before deciding to leave due to children being hungry and thirsty. They came to ask us if we would like a beverage when we had stood up to leave. I was also upset to find out that there was an age limit for the children at the kids club. I don’t think this is a good place for families. There wasn’t much for them to do. I’ve been to better more family friendly hotels in the past but this isn’t it. I would definitely not recommend this place for families or anyone. I definitely won’t be coming back, with or without children.

Garza Blanca provided an exceptional stay. Upon arrival, we were pleasantly surprised with an upgrade to the honeymoon suite, which was truly amazing. Featuring a 180-degree balcony, a hot tub, and a jacuzzi, the suite was incredibly spacious. Overall, my experience was fantastic.
The beach and pool areas were impeccably maintained and clean. The staff were friendly, attentive, and proficient in English. However, the only aspect that fell short was the food. Blanca Blue, the poolside restaurant, and Bocados (the steakhouse) were merely satisfactory, lacking any standout dishes. The hotel could significantly improve by hiring a new chef or implementing a new food program.
The Tierraluna gardens were aesthetically pleasing, yet during the daytime, they felt desolate as the stores were open but devoid of staff, creating an eerie atmosphere. The trolley service was highly practical.
It's worth noting that this hotel is very family-friendly, so if you seek a more private or adult-oriented experience, it may not be the ideal choice. Nevertheless, I am thoroughly pleased with the all-inclusive experience and would gladly return in the future.

The property was really nice. The pools are amazing overlooking the ocean. The resort is right on the beach where you can go back and forth from the beach to the resort. The rooms are spacious and clean. The service was amazing and the resort offered a trolly to take you from one side of the resort to the other. The things that I didn't like are, there were very few options for vegans and we were constantly hassled by the concierge service to buy into the timeshare. We felt very uncomfortable walking through the lobby because we were always chased down to ask to talk about the timeshare and how they would give us a certain percentage off on any merch that we bought, etc.

I absolutely loved my stay here! I felt like everyone treated me like a queen. Everything was very clean. One thing I didn’t know is that if you do all inclusive, you can eat at the restaurants at the hotel as well. I’m so appreciative for the trolley. I had never been to Mexico before and was impressed with everyone’s ability to speak English and the way they treated you. Perfect sunsets. Amazing rooms with hammocks on them. The spa was AMAZING and the service was amazing there too. Not a big party place if that’s what you’re looking for. But they did have a Dj by the main pool one day. 45 min from the airport sucked but it was worth it.

They don’t seem to like to do upgrades and seem to ignore Expedia Platnum membership benefits except for bottle of wine. We had to almost fight for a room upgrade. Only given two nights but it was wonderful. This is our second time staying here both times they did not let us check in early. Other than that this is a wonderful place with great food and staff. Beach is small but pools are nice. Kayaking is fantastic.
