Very nice property only issue that we faced was first the rooms smelled like mop water room was nice but reeked of dirty mop water. Second the buffets food was always cold or lukewarm. Property is nice good stay other than that.

Only complaint we were not told we needed close toed shoes for the bike tour so we ended up having to cancel.

We’ve stayed at many Hilton Hotels & Resorts properties, so we had high expectations—especially after visiting another resort in Cancun (not a Hilton) a few months prior.

Unfortunately, this resort fell short in several areas. The food was underwhelming, and while the staff were kind, they seemed consistently overworked and understaffed—especially at restaurants and for the shuttles. We stayed at Casa 5, which is farther from the lobby, and shuttle wait times were often 10+ minutes.

Our last day was especially disappointing. At the kids’ pool, it was difficult to get food or drinks due to only a couple of servers handling a large crowd.

For the price of an all-inclusive, there wasn’t anything that felt special. Store prices were extremely high—we paid $55 for sunscreen, and most items were about three times U.S. prices. Definitely bring your own essentials.

The room was decent with an ocean view, but the frosted glass bathroom doors weren’t ideal for a family with kids.

On the positive side, the beach was beautiful (bring water shoes due to coral), and the drinks were strong—unlike some other resorts in Cancun.

Overall, we wouldn’t return.

The hotel is beautiful, and the staff were very kind and respectful. We stayed in Casa 6, with our 8 and 4-year-old kids. They loved the water park and the playground. Would recommend water shoes for the water park. The pool in the main lobby was closed. We didn't use any of the other pools (near Casa 3) due to the smell of the Sargassum (would not recommend staying in Casa 3 for now).

All the à la carte restaurants were delicious. I suggest making reservations for the restaurants as soon as you make the reservations for the hotel (they get booked in advance). The buffet near Casa 5 is hit or miss; the buffet in the Lobby is better.

The selection of alcohol is very good, but they use concentrate for all their juices, which brings cocktails down. I don't understand why they don't use real Lime.

The transportation between the houses is not as frequent as they report it, especially during \"peak hour\" (Before and after shows); but the walk is 15 min at the most between the main Lobby and Casa 6.

The rooms are nice, quiet, and clean.

We loved our stay and likely would go again.

Everything super clean. Kids club should make an effort to keep the kids busy and parents free, there are several rules and they call you whenever something is off with the kids, we couldn't enjoy a (well paid) spa moment because we had our phone buzzing. In general the staff is kind, but they approach their rules without context making things more complicated/frustrating than they supposed to be. The app is a disaster.

Went as a family vacation with 5 year old and the kid pool does offer a great place for the kids but besides popcorn chicken, they are very limited on food. Reservations are required for every restaurant and they were booked for almost the whole trip so we had no opportunity to try a few restaurants. Gym is amazing. The beach is small as half the resort is too rocky or narrow to use. If you do not pay for the enclave top level, just assume you won't get the best service or any of the extras.

We recently stayed at Hilton Tulum Riviera Maya and had an absolutely amazing experience from start to finish. Not a single negative thing to say about this beautiful resort!

A heartfelt thank you to the General Manager, the Front Desk Manager, the Reservation Manager, the front desk staff, and every single team member we interacted with—your service was truly top-notch and made our stay so memorable. You can tell the resort is very well planned, thoughtfully designed, and maintained with great care.

We stayed in room 2309 at Casa 2, and the cleanliness was a perfect 10/10—everything was spotless and very well maintained.

We traveled to celebrate our son’s second birthday, and the team went above and beyond to make it special for our family. A huge shoutout to Ivan, who took exceptional care of us and made sure every need was met. His attention and kindness really made our stay unforgettable.

If you’re traveling with family, this is the perfect resort. It’s peaceful, relaxing, and ideal for anyone looking to unwind and recharge.

Highly recommend—we will definitely be back!

They kept the beach clear of seaweed, the food was great, and everyone was genuinely happy to help the guests. The kidcare room was probably the best part. My 4 year old always wanted to go back. The only part that could use improvement are the drinks. The cocktails were all made with mixes that had some strange artificial flavorings instead of real fruit juices, etc.

Yes the ocean was visible from our room. I had paid for the garden veiw, the room wasnt ready and apparently they had some cancelations we were comped. Problem was the two double beds.
There is no shuttle offered by the resort. Be aware of the extreem prices up to 300us. Theres an independent taxi service.
Down load the indrive app, theres no uber. If you dont use indrive you will pay hundreds in trasportation costs.
The waiters are totally unenthusiastic, and way not hardly enyone tips them.

This resort checked all the boxes - beautiful ocean view and huge rooms stocked with amenities. Made my vacation (a 50th birthday trip with 7 friends from multiple locations) amazing. The food was resort food (fine, not exceptional except for the Mexican restaurant, where we went for food) but that's normal (having stayed at 5 resorts in the Caribbean, this is totally the way it is), and you get a lot of value for the money.

The property did have a shuttle and golf cart service that was available 24/7. My biggest complaint is after drinking Ice water using ice from the machine, I was riddled with Travelers Diarrhea.

Overall, the resort is very beautiful and organized. It’s pleasant to simply be there with the modern design and look. However, the rooms are a bit poorly established: the bathroom did not have a fan so throughout our weekly stay, the smell was pungent.

The staff was very nice and respectful, and it was very nice to have a shuttle system traveling 24/7 past all living quarters to pick up and drop off the people vacationing.

We really enjoyed the events that were planned throughout our time. It was well prepared for and fantastically performed.

I highly recommend this stay to others, overall it’s an amazing location with amazing service to relax and have a lot of fun

Room was in good condition but we didn’t get full room service everyday. I wasn’t expecting a thorough cleaning but just having our beds made, trash changed, and towels refreshed was a bit lackluster. The place never really felt like it got cleaned the entire time we were there. We definitely didn’t get any top ups on shampoo and soap, etc. we got our drink fridge restocked I guess. Anyhow that could be better.

Buffet staff was awesome - very friendly and made us feel welcome. We loved having breakfast and lunch at the buffet just for the staff interactions.

Making reservations was the single most frustrating experience and everyone in our group agrees. All places booked up by Sunday and we had gotten there on Friday??? We eked out a few places but never got to experience Aume, La Luce, or Teppenyaki. It is kind of absurd that it is that competitive. And with no guidance as to how quickly things filled up, we really had no shot.

Anyway, for having kids with us this was fine. If i was on an adults-only trip, these things would bother me.

The service was absolutely horrible, to upselling us for a exclusive experience which included day beds at all the pools and reservations to restaurants.. We got kicked out of our day bed the first day after we set up saying we only have access to certain area day beds and our reservations for dinner were all scheduled for 8:30- 9 pm at night even though we had a 6 year old with us. Check-in was 3 pm we didn’t get a room until 4pm even though we arrived at 12:30 we couldn’t even get waters in the room or even enough towels for only 3 of us on a daily basis. My daughter got sick and threw up after dinner the first night, we asked for new sheets and comforter after 2 hours and several calls we received. Would never go back and after spending $8500 for 5 nights…was definitely a waste and would never recommend.

Rooms are spotless and staff are so kind and friendly. This hotel maintains high standards for service. This is my second time staying here and I plan on coming back. It’s quieter, more luxuries and there is ample privacy. The food is wonderful. So fresh and delicious. One comment is that the dinner restaurants are not as delicious as the lunch and breakfast buffets. The attention to detail is also immaculate. The resort is also so beautiful and really focuses on marrying nature, modern architecture and Mayan traditions.

This is a terrible property do not stay here. The pools are overcrowded, the drinks are watered down. All the seats at the pool are taken by guests early in the day with towels. Staff did nothing to help with this. Lastly the front desk and staff are very rude and unhelpful.

All the above, we arrived and paid for a connecting room they claimed the rooms were close together and had to wait for them to figure out that.

The concierge gave very misleading information regarding dinner reservations and was rude her final answer was well it is high season you can order room service. I understand it’s high season but my stay was at peak season pricing as well.

Day two of our stay I left a tip for the rooms to be cleaned not but they only cleaned one of the two. This was the same for the next 4 days. I asked to speak to a mod 2 times and that never happened. In addition they kept leaving only 6 towels when our group was 7.

Restaurants that we had reservations at did not honor the reservation times with the Japanese restaurant seating us 1 hour after hour time as well as Mexcal. Both restaurants upon seating rushed us.

I went to the lobby to ask what activities they had for New Year’s Eve. They were not sure and went to find out. While waiting a socket in the floor began to smoke and shot up flames the front desk seemed unconcerned.

Finally the resort for New Year’s Eve did not have a family friendly event the entire main space was blocked off and used for a tequila tasting. The small areas to the sides had a few other activities but once again the area was very small and crowded due to the dominate space reserved and roped off.

Over all the experience was poor at best. Was very disappointing.

The hotel overall is very poorly staffed. There were many times when at the buffet a section (e.g. chilaquiles station) wasn't staffed at all or there was one person staffing the bar for an entire pool. The service also overall was terrible with staff looking overwhelmed. It took over an hour and half to just get chips and guac to our cabana.

We went for NYE weekend for 5 nights and we could only get reservations for 2 nights. This was initially understandable as they said the hotel was fully booked but when we got to the restaurants they were maybe at 30% capacity our whole seating?? When asking for anything like still water, we had to ask several times and several times we just gave up and ate our meal without water.

Finally, the food was actually terrible. At the Asian restaurant, the tuna tataki was almost neon pink and inedible. At the buffet, there really aren't a lot if any toddler friendly options and it was like pulling teeth getting french fries at the buffet when they were available on the room service, and beach menus.

Overall, very disappointing especially for NYE weekend. We will not be back

That said, when you were able to find help, staff was friendly. Also wish there were more structured activities (game room or poolside fun) for the full family outside of kid/teen club. Location was great - easy drive (cab ride) to many adventure and scenic activities.

We recently spent 5 wonderful days on a family vacation at this resort, and overall, it was an excellent experience that I would highly recommend to other families.
The hotel itself was outstanding – clean, spacious, and well-maintained with beautiful facilities that kept everyone in our group happy, from the kids to the adults. The rooms were comfortable, and the on-site amenities (pool, restaurants, and kids' activities) were perfect for a relaxing yet fun family trip.
What really stood out was the staff. They were incredibly nice, friendly, and attentive throughout our stay. From the front desk to the housekeeping and restaurant teams, everyone went out of their way to make us feel welcome and ensure we had everything we needed. Their warm service truly elevated the entire vacation.
The only minor issue we encountered was a shortage of beach loungers (couches). On a couple of busier days, it was a bit challenging to find available spots by the beach, which was a small frustration after such a perfect setup otherwise.
Despite that one small drawback, our overall experience was excellent. We left feeling refreshed and already talking about returning. Great value for a memorable family holiday!.

This is very difficult for me because I know ho lucky we are to be in a paradise like Tulum but the Hilton system was very flawed. You cannot make reservations in restaurants ahead of your trip and when we got there there were no reservations available! After much negotiating and calling they gave us one restaurant reservation on our last day at 9 pm!
The chair situation in the beach was the typical in resorts, we had to get up at 6 to “reserve” ie put property in a chair in order to be able to sit by the ocean, at this point many hotels have other options, so we end up eating buffets sitting in the towel on the sand, which is not a match for the amount of money you pay. It’s not the workers fault but the Hilton company, just not a good experience as no one can give you answers or options. Workers, especially cleaning personal , were kind and extremely well done in their job.

Lovely resort perfect for a family stay with stunning views of the sea. Great facilities provided and we were given an upgrade to 'enclave' which gave us access to great cocktails at the enclave lounge. Staff were friendly and helpful mostly. Overall excellent facilities centred around family and amazing setting with a great private beach for the resort. Nice clean spacious rooms with a great rain shower.
Things that could be improved - though we were given the upgrade with enclave access we were not told this at check-in so we only came to find out on day 3 of our stay by chance. The only area where we felt the staff were not as friendly was in cocomar restaurant which was supposed to be the more premium 'enclave' area and we therefore only used this area once. Similarly the jacuzzi area in the enclave area was also not working during the entire period of our stay. Room service and tidying was happening quite late on in the day, often at 5-6pm at which point it would be difficult as we were often giving kids showers and getting ready for dinner.
The kids club was well equipped and the staff were very caring. There however could be better activities for the kids utilising outside and inside areas in a more active way such as sports for the slightly older kids.
Overall an enjoyable stay however there are a few areas where the experience could be improved. Thank you once again for the stay

Property is too big and going back and forth from room to restaurants/ main areas were a nightmare specially with a baby. Shuttles weren’t adequate enough.

Rooms were clean, views were great, service was great as well. Food was okay, not the best.

Location is good if you’re planning on staying in the hotel. If you wanna see around, it’s not the best place.

Super upset at the service that was provided the food was horrible. The toilet had to be replaced midday. We were super unhappy with the service and the food. I’ve been trying to reach someone to call me to explain and I have not been able to get a hold of anyone.

The property was beautiful, the shuttles made it easy to get around, everything was very clean, food was good for an all inclusive as well. There are many pools and the beach was better than I expected. There are also amazing views of the water from almost everywhere, and a very unique set up to the hotel with 6 different 3 story sections spread out and all directly on the beach.

Overall resort was good and we enjoyed our stay. Compared to few other resort the evening program was a bit average plus the drinks are not available in the room except beer and even the bars was closing at 12

However I did feel that the staff differentiates basis race - tables were always given in the corner to us, water and/or coffee not served in Vela without asking so many times but other tables would get it immediately

Even the house keeping staff were not cleaning the room well or even stocking the mini bar which should be basic

Hotel is very clean , food is ok , out off the restaurants the Steak House is the best …
Family hotel with no night life.. the beach is beautiful but has lots of big rocks ..overall experience if you’re looking to party/ nightlife entertainment This is not the hotel for you . Other then that I would recommend for families .
