Hotel Bristol is such a cute little hotel - it very much gives hostel vibes while still getting the hotel service. It is a very close walk to the center location of this area. The beds were very comfortable and check in was smooth. Our room was cute and spacious. Would highly recommend this hidden little gem!

The staff were excellent, especially the front desk. I forgot the man's bame (so sorry), but I believe it started with an R, dark hair. He gave such good recommendations and was so helpful about transportation options and nearby good places to eat and visit. He really made the stay here great. Thank you so much!

I love staying at the hotel Bristol in Zürich. It’s close to the main train station and museum. You can jump on trams too. It’s next to a lovely pastry and sandwich shop for breakfast and lunch. And the staff are exceptional. I can’t wait to come back again.

Kettle in room did not work. Man at reception seemed annoyed at being asked for a new one. 2nd one failed too.
Room was nicely decorated. Bed was comfy but covers were too short width-wise so one of us froze each night!
Coffee at breakfast was lovely. Whole grain rolls were very fresh and delicious. Great location for train station and trams.

This place is conveniently located on the lakefront. There are many restaurants and shops nearby within walking distance. Lots goes on directly in front of the hotel. There was even a concert one night. You really feel as though you are immersed in the culture when you stay here. The hotel itself is clean, and the breakfast was absolutely amazing! The staff were helpful and friendly. I very much enjoyed my stay here.

Nice room in a good location - very near train station and a tram stop almost right across street. 24 hour desk staff is nice. A/C only comes on if the temps are above like 74-75 degrees so a little warm for American travelers - but we were able to open the windows, so it worked. I thought the sheets were very scratchy. Breakfast was OK, but more cereals, yogurts and breads. Would stay there again if you just needed a place to rest and shower.

My check in time was supposed to be 2:00pm. I got to the hotel around 12:30 pm --the staff was so nice that she allowed me to check in early (since my room was already ready). It is a big deal to me to check in right away because I was so tired with my heavy luggage and walked from train station to the hotel--thank you so much!!!

The woman who greeted me at the reception desk was fantastic - efficient, well-groomed, articulate and she had a sense of humor. She seemed to be genuinely pleased that I would be a guest at the property. The hotel is in a pretty dense neighborhood, so I wasn’t expecting any sort of view - and I faced a blank wall across a narrow alley. The room, bath and public areas were spotlessly clean. The location is incredibly convenient - five minutes on foot from the main station. Though not a scenic neighborhood, I felt safe and all the sights of inner Zurich are within easy walking distance. The main station is also a hub for public transit that can take you virtually anywhere in Switzerland (including inner Zurich), so this hotel is a great place to consider if you’re using the country fabulous transit system. The breakfast buffet was pretty standard - breakfast breads, ham, salami, cheese, canned fruit cocktail and some fresh apples, cold chocolate rice cereal, juice and hot beverages - no eggs (not even cold, boiled ones). If you’re looking for a spectacular Swiss hotel experience, this is not the place for you. But… if you want an incredibly convenient, safe, friendly and relaxed overnight spot, this IS for you. I would definitely return.

Rated 4 stars, but seemed more like three. Spacious comfortable rooms, but tiny, tiny bathroom. So few guests it seemed almost deserted. Very mediocre breakfast for 18fr./$24. Skip it!. About a 12 min. walk to the fountain; 30-35 to the station. Most will need a taxi. Nothing of interest around the hotel. Numerous other properties much closer to station. Try one of those instead.

Really liked the location and the room itself! And the staff was super friendly. And they have a luggage scale, which was super helpful.

My only gripe was there was such a strong perfume/cologne scent in the hotel and room itself. I’m just not a fan of strong scents as they can trigger migraines. By the end of the day it wasn’t so strong but still noticeable.

The room was adequate and had a bonus balcony. However the area is noisy due to loud music in the night. Road works were also very near the hotel that time.

The room was spacious however the location of the beds were not very good as the head part was next to the toilet door. The shower had a low pressure and the sink make a gurgling sound as it flows down.

The kettle was a pleasant amenity. The tram was very near and the hotel is very walkable to the main areas of attraction.

The staff were very friendly, smiley and accommodating.

We had two nights stay . The hotel needs serious upgrading we were a family of 4 with teenagers and were given a very small room we were feeling very cramped. One of the double beds were next to the radiator and my son was very uncomfortable sleeping as the thermostat knob was sticking out and poking him . He had to keep the cushion against it to sleep comfortably but unfortunately he was not . Bathroom very outdated the window was broken we were scared to open it . Our room was cleaned the next day but the coffee / tea mugs were not replaced by new clean ones nor the tea coffee section was topped up with new teabags, coffee sachets, suger or milk. The hotel is very conveniently located just a short walk from Zurich train station around 8 mins and 10 mins walk to old town Zurich and lots of restaurants as well . The reception staff was amazing easy check in and check out . Overall it was an ok experience it’s fine if booking for couple of days but not good for 2 plus days .
