Nice location to explore Berlin. Good food outlets nearby including a small supermarket. Hotel is generally good, carpets are dirty and stained on floors and rooms. Tea and coffee facilities are lacking at times as room service will leave very short supplies eg sugar and milk and then when you go and ask reception downstairs they will give you what they have often short on sugar and milk even with them. Room we stayed in was dusty and it is evident cleaning is not to an acceptable international standard however I was not too fussed to complain as we were out throughout the day till the late evening when we returned to rest. For a hotel there are areas that require significant improvements to enhance customer experience however we enjoyed Berlin.

The room was clean and I stayed in winter and it was warm. There was heated floor in the bathroom and the bathroom and shower were clean as well. Staff was very nice. The sauna was the best part. It was like a whole spa that I had to myself. It was close to all the sites and walking distance. I would stay here again.

The staff are this property’s driving force. Courteous, helpful, efficient, friendly, responsive, they are the hotel’s best asset. Check in and out extremely streamlined. Location is the second best asset. Close to many dining options (highly recommend the Indian restaurant in the corner for the best curry!) There’s a huge mall and Alexanderplatz is within easy walking distance. Museums, the Brandenburg Gate all within walking distance. The hotel restaurant was also convenient with a tasty breakfast buffet and good drinks for dinner. The restaurant is clean and well maintained. The beds were comfortable and the room well stocked. The only negative issue I had had to do with the cleanliness of the linen and rooms. I would highly recommend the hotel changes their linen service. The towels and bed sheets were dingy, not dirty per se but not pristine. This was the only thing and I realize this is normally outsourced so I don’t want to detract from the hotel experience. Overall I highly recommend this hotel especially if you’re looking for an excellent location to explore Berlin.

The location was great. However the rooms were not cleaned. The towels were very poor quality and one of them was grey and was frayed. I stayed for three nights and requested my room be cleaned on the second day. Despite asking at 0800 and again asking at 1500 this did not occur. It was very frustrating since the place is advertised as having daily house keeping. They need to hire more staff to address this fundamental issue.

On arrival our room smelt of drains, this did clear. The carpet in the room was stained which was disappointing. One of the towels had a visible hole and was ripped this was replaced on request. Although the towels were well used and worn although clean. On arrival the reception staff were not particularly welcoming, on other occasions the staff varied from being friendly and smiling to being somewhat sullen. The breakfast menu was excellent and when we ate in the dining room the food was excellent.

The room was clean and bright with plenty of space. The lack of drawers was a bit disappointing as two of us shared the room, but nonetheless it was a good sized room. Staff were friendly and welcoming and also helpful. Breakfast was excellent with a wide range of options that my grandson enjoyed. It's a good location. Close enough to Alexanderplatz for access to excellent transport options and next to the amazing Hofbrauhaus Berlin.

The stay was alright, but we had to evac the building for 30-40 mins at 3am because of a \"technical fault\". There were no explanations or apologies by the staff. Room service does not happen unless explicitly requested.

A nice hotel in a central location. Clean comfortable rooms, nice bathroom and shower facilities with underfloor heating. The breakfast offering was good, lots of choice and nice coffee. The surrounding area is looking a lot more rundown than previous visits to Berlin but I guess that is the reality of modern European cities now. Aside from that I enjoyed my trip to Berlin on this occasion.
