Excellent little hotel, very close to the Cologne Cathedral, and with many shops ans restaurants around. Area is actually quiet at night. Love that you can hear the Cathedral bells from the balcony of the room.

This hotel is very much in the heart of Cologne. We enjoyed having to walk around the area as there are many shopping places to go to. The amenities were great. Everything was clean and updated. Staff were amazing! All were helpful and accommodating. We highly recommend this hotel!

The stay itself was fine, location good. However, only 8 hours before I left home to travel to the hotel I got an email from them to say my room was cancelled. When I phoned the hotel no one knew why. This left me very distressed as I knew cologne was going to be very busy. Although I’d booked a superior room with twin bed all they were able to give my friend and I was a small comfort room with a queen bed. At that late stage we’d no option but to take it. However we were not reimbursed the difference. Very frustrating and disappointing at such a late stage.

Central location, comfortable and a free breakfast. Would have appreciated some vegan options for breakfast. Noise can be heard from the street but this quietened down overnight on the Monday. There was an issue with the new fire alarm system on the Tuesday morning but this was resolved after it happened a few times. Would recommend this affordable hotel if not looking for anything extremely special.
