the rooms with \"good rate\" are the ones close to the street; and it's very close to the street which has a speed limit of 70km/hr! the engine noise is huge even approaching midnight.

also the so called \"free breakfast included\" is a catch: it's turned out to be a very minimal \"continental\" breakfast: two pcs of sliced bread and a little bit fruit is all you'll get; and it must be served by the staff (so you can't take more )...

Room - flity has black mould on pillows - walls so flithy and shower head was a cross between the hulk and the green smile monster - at least a few years old

The Foyer is fantastic - but don’t let that fool you - lifts has dried snot and split drinks all down the walls and the buttons were sticky like lollies or toffee on it

Advertised continental buffet is only 2 pieces of cold hard toast - one coffee and 6 small pieces. Not allowed access to any cereal or anything

Cafe has posters that state they are a star bucks affiliated cafe - but only have americano coffee or direct you back to the buffet

No pool bar - looks abandoned - dinner was interesting and a day of food poisoning followed

Floor 6 has holes in the roof every five or so metres - has a musty smell in the hallway and room like a long term water leak - obviously why they have holes cut in the roof

Spoke to manager first morning about continental breakfast and he basically just said it “ is what it is “

The porter was the only half decent staff member there

The reception staff were either in there phones for extended period of times or fixing there dress in the mirror

Even the room keys are recycled as my had dried chocolate on them

I didn’t risk going under the sheets and slept on the top of the bed as from the black moulding pillow

Ohhh the pool has a speaker for music - it’s been ripped down of the wall and placed next to broken deck chairs

Might be cheap but for good sake stay away

El lugar está muy cómodo y céntrico entre la zona hotelera y Cancún.
Nuestra habitación estuvo hermosa y la vista fue lo mejor.
En cuanto a limpieza, las toallas están muy percudidas, salió una cucaracha de una coladera abajo del lavabo. Faltaban jabones y tuvimos que pedir. Y las almohadas muy incómodas.
En el bar pedimos distintas bebidas y no tenían. Terminamos tomando agua.
En general el lugar está bien.

This is the 3rd time I stay in this hotel and I have never been disappointed. Very freindly staff clean rooms and facility easy access to lots of places either walking or taking the public transportation. The beach right across the street is excellent to spend the day. The hotel seems nice but lacks lots of maintenance. The room I got didn’t have hot water, the shower faucet was broken (didn’t have handles), the cushions in the chairs were peeled off, the thermostat wasn’t working, the towels were old and hard as cardboard (and there was only one), no cleaning products available like conditioner or body lotion, the mirrors were stained, and the shower door was creaking.
After asking for help I was moved to another room in better conditions, but not a radical improvement and the request wasn’t received in a nice way either.
I moved later to another hotel which was about the same price but radically better in many aspects.
The pool was pretty good.

Great spot to stay, space for cars if you rent one and drive there. Staff was awesome and friendly. Room was clean and had a nice view of the ocean. The food they served was good. The gym is small but it’s good enough for a mini work out. All in all a great place to stay. The price was decent as well.

The Hotel itself was horrible. Cockroaches everywhere. The front desk people were horrible and rude when you came to them for help or report there are broken ice makers that were not fixed for days! The housekeepers were awesome people and so was Julio at the front door. They were AMAZING and so polite, helpful and sociable. The food from resturaunt was horrible and came with cockroaches too.

The check in and check out process was quick. Property is beautiful, however, there's obvious signs of neglect. I spent 6 days there and the same table by the pool area remained in the floor, no one picked it up. Room furniture had humidity and I found an old cranberry underneath their telephone, so that suggests how important cleanliness is for the hotel and their staff. At the restaurant, Esperanza was great. Not a lot of food variety, but overall a nice experience.

What i really liked about this property is the dining area and the pool area. The views of the lagoon are amazing. Unfortunately the room i got was not in the best condition. The location of the property is great, the cafe staff stood out to me the most, they were very attentive and polite. I would stay here again for the location and price.

This property is very good for a for several reasons, first the rates are very good. I think it's because it's on the lagoon side. It's located almost directly in front of langosta beach which in my opinion is one of the most beautiful public beaches in the hotel zone. The pool was also a nice size. Starbucks in the lobby, it's on the bus line. It could use some new beds, no mini fridge or safe. Hard not to like the price and location if you don't need your hand held.

Extremley disappointment and not recommneded.

Real Inn Cancun hotel experience was extremely disappointing.

- Rooms were dilapidated.

- Air conditioning in each room did not work.

- Hotel restaurant/Cafe was poor and lacked variety and on a evening dinner they had served pasta lasagne FROZEN - twice!

- Hotel cafe buffet was unclean and birds would fly around and at times start eating buffet food while we were eating.

-A family member suffered severe bed bugs bites and impacted their health and their entire holiday in Cancun. (PHOTO EVIDENCE AVAILABLE UPON REQUEST)

-Due to bed bugs the room were changed however, it was a downgrade as one of rooms had sealed window and no balcony.

- We found the recommendation by hotel.com to be misleading and we would not recommend this hotel to anyone else.

This hotel is very worn down. Lacks basic maintenance, and housekeeping was terrible. We switched rooms because or hair in sheers and dirty sheets and pillow cases. 2nd room was just as bad. Food was terrible and pool had no shadded areas to relax in. We checked out within an hour and just lost our money. DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY OR TIME. NOT CLOSE TO ANYTHING AT ALL. WILL NEVER RETURN.

If you're looking for a cheap stay and aren't going to spend much time at the hotel, this might work.

My family and I arrived to the hotel around 2 AM. I tried three times to advise the hotel that we would arrive late and couldn’t get a hold of anyone.
Once we arrived at the hotel, Manuel assisted us with the check in. He demanded that everyone of my family of 6 be present in order to check in. I informed him that I have two little girls sleeping (3, and 5) inside the car and asked him if he could come to see them instead of having to take the kids out of the car. He told me that he could not and it’s the hotel procedure and I had to have everyone in the lobby in order to obtain the hotel keys.
I told him that’s fine but it’s not good customer service on his end. The bellman stayed there watching everything but no help either.
Manuel gave us two rooms on different floors at the very end of the hallway. Pretty much sending a message that he is in charge and my family and I were paying the price of complaining about his customer service.
Our room number 333 had no towels at all. Not even hand or face towels. In order to shower we had to get pool towels ourselves. We made two complaints with the morning employees but we never received any contact from a manager or anyone trying to make things better or accommodate our towel request. Also the TV in room 333 wouldn’t even turn on and we asked for them to take a look at it and of course they did not and it was never fixed during our time there. Lastly the bathroom paint is literally peeling off the walls.

I had high expectations for this hotel based on its exterior, but the rooms were a big letdown. Most had damp ceilings, a strong musty smell, and broken fixtures.

If you want a pool or lagoon view, be prepared to pay an extra $24 USD per night. Otherwise, you’ll have to deal with nonstop traffic noise in the street-facing rooms, making it hard to get a good night’s sleep.

The “included breakfast” is disappointing—it’s just coffee or tea, two pieces of bread, and a small fruit plate. Anything else costs extra.

Overall, I wouldn’t stay here again.

Clean hotel with friendly staff in need of updates

Hotel looks great and has nice facilities, however the rooms are very tired and badly in need of updating. built ins have places that are coming apart, they have been repaired but not nicely. Beds were comfortable but the pillows are very old and need to be replaced. The staff works constantly to keep everything clean and nice, they were all very friendly and helpful. Overall OK but could easily be great with some TLC

The continental breakfast is very limited, coffee or juice,fruit and toast. That is not a continental
breakfast. Terrible service and most of the we didn't get toast
for about 20 minutes if at all. I paid extra to expedia for lagoon view with balcony which i didn't get, was told the balcony is another $200 US. There are pictures on expedia of balconies with lounge chairs that don't exist. Scuba diving classes in the pool every day that is not mentioned in your add. Will never book a hotel with expedia again.

I like their outdoor dining/breakfast area on the lagoon, eating there is very enjoyable. A couple of days they set thermostat of our room to 17 degrees for some reason, but hey, at least the beer that i kept in the room was cold.

The hotel is conveniently located and even has a Starbucks inside! It's a simple accommodation, perfect for a weekend stay if you're looking to explore Cancun or engage in activities. Additionally, it's close to the ferry, which is a bonus.

However, the service at the hotel was lacking. My room was not cleaned, and the towels were old and ripped; they only made the bed without changing the sheets. Furthermore, the toilet wasn't working properly, and I had to call for maintenance to get it fixed.

If your room faces the highway, be prepared for loud noise from traffic starting around 4 AM. On the upside, you'll have an ocean view, but this is something the hotel does not mention.

Hotel Review: Disappointing Stay

I recently stayed at a hotel in Cancun, and unfortunately, my experience was far from pleasant. The staff’s behavior was absolutely terrible, particularly a lady named Elizabeth. She displayed no interest in providing basic services and was extremely rude whenever we asked for assistance. Her attitude made the stay even more uncomfortable and unwelcoming.

The lack of professionalism and courtesy from the staff was disappointing, and it overshadowed any positive aspects of the hotel. If customer service is important to you, I would strongly advise against staying at this hotel. I cannot recommend this place to anyone and will not be returning.

Good customer service and location were great.
Cons/ I felt it lacked several things. There was no fridge in the room which I find inconvenient. The ice machine was located in one of the floors so unless you were staying there you had to go up or down to get it. We had a small accident when we went out and I could not find a pharmacy opened so I requested some items of the emergency kit to which they told me they didn’t have one. Also the shower head looked like they hadn’t clean it in days and when I turn the handle to turn it on it feel I had to figure out how to put it back on so I could shower

The Real Inn property was incredible! We had several meals in the restaurant and everything was amazing. The entire property was extremely clean! We coordinated a trip to downtown Cancun through the security guard and it was easy, quick and super fun. Cannot say enough good things about this property and our experience!

The room service staff and the repair person who came in were very professional and did a nice job.

Couple of issues we encountered during our stay was
- the locker was not functional. It was then replaced
- water was leaking from the exhaust vent in the ceiling. This was also fixed.

The water pressure in the shower was not good. Moreover, the water was not warm enough for shower on many occassions.
