Our room was very clean and having the kitchenette and washer/ dryer was very convenient. The hotel is pretty easy walk from the main station or you can U1 subway line two stops to Mebberg station which is right outside the hotel. Plenty of restaurants and pubs within walking distance. Would definately stay here again.

Hamburg train station doesn’t look safe. The hotel is very convenient, only two stops away from main train station. Only 1minute walk from the subway station. The area does not look safe but it’s very quiet and clean inside. Breakfast was great! Many varieties.

Everything was perfect except for the fact that we requested for a quiet room and hotel staff still allocated the room right beside the sauna and pool (it was so noisy the whole night with the door slamming every now and then). Other than that, the room was really comfortable, clean and close to city center.

Although the location is good for city access, the traffic noise and sirens make it hard to have a good night sleep.
Rooms are very dry even with a window open. Went to use the sauna and it wasn't turned on - had to get someone and wait. Their breakfast buffet is very overpriced (27 Euros) but other options outside the hotel are available.
Our biggest issue is we booked a room with Expedia that could sleep 3 guests. There was a base price with a 35 Euro extra for the 3rd person. We attended a family reunion and our 3rd guest was only with us 5 of the 11 nights as she was with family the other nights. The hotel (via Expedia) billed us for a 3rd guest for all 11 nights. I argued with the Hotel but they said I have to take it up with Expedia. I emailed Expedia and they did not reply.
So we paid 210 Euro more than we should have for the room.

The hotel was clean and beautiful. Location was fantastic if you want to access the main tourism spots; many are walkable from this hotel. The rooms were so soundproof, the traffic and even summer road construction could not be heard. The hotel restaurant was also very enjoyable.

I had to leave a day early and advised them of this when I checked in. They said it was too late to cancel so I assumed I had the rooms (2 rooms) for the full three days. On day 2, fifteen minutes after check out time, the front desk demanded that I leave, even though I had paid for the third day. After some back and forth I received an hour extension. I paid for the third day and they said that was my \"cancellation fee\". The received full payment for two rooms (day 3) that were never used by me. I felt they could have been a little flexible. Behavior like this can really ruin ones vacation.

We booked for 3 adults, the third bed was a sofa bed but not suitable for an adult, and the bedding provided was inadequate for the nuber of occupancy although we did not atempt to upgrade as it was so late. Also not suitable for sharing as the door to the bathroom was a sliding door and limited re being private for 3 adults. The accommodation was excellent otherwise. Really friendly reception staff.

Mix reviews with this hotel.

I’ll start with positive review:
-good location, close to good restaurants, cafes, and tourist areas! We were able to walk to various places.
-room was comfortable! There’s a washer/dryer, microwave, good size fridge, dishwasher and stove. We slept well on the bed. The washer and dryer was very handy since we still had two other countries ro visit.
-buffet breakfast was decent. Same food daily but it was good.
-pool was nice, cool temperature and sauna was nice. We didn’t try the exercise room.

Now, our feedback:
-first night, front desk person was helpful with our television and honest that we couldn’t watch Netflix on our room television. He came to our room to help us. Our room did not have a smart type of television. Very basic television.
-if you want hotel service, you will not get this here. It’s an apartment with apartment service.
-we stayed for 4 nights, 5days. Not once was our room cleaned! Yes we asked the front desk on our second and third day. Front desk said don’t worry they will request this. They did nothing about it even though we asked twice during our stay! We even mentioned at check out. They didn’t care!
-no clean towels during our whole stay! We asked twice and nothing was brought to our room. Front desk was annoyed we called to ask for clean towels and more washer detergent. They told us to come get it ourselves! My husband went and again we felt like we were bothering them.

Adina needs to improve customer service!

Clean and quiet hotel in a convenient location (2 min for subway station). Impressed with the bed condition. Friendly and kind staff. The restaurant on the ground floor served us excellent food. Highly recommended. The only problem was that WiFi got busy during high time (evening) and did not function frequently. It would have been a nightmare if I had had some work to do during the stay. I pointed this out when we left the hotel. I hope they fixed the problem. We could not use the oven in the room as the instruction was written in German.

Great place to stay in Hamburg. The room is large even by USA standards and has a full functioning kitchen. The property is modern and I had no issues using the elevators. While the pool was undergoing renovation, I was able to use the gym and sauna. I strongly recommend pre-purchasing the breakfast during reservation as it has a buffet with lot of food options and unlimited cappuccinos/juice. It will be more expensive to purchase it at the property.

I will not stay here again. The shower did not drain so it created a lake of water. That means that they are not cleaning the disgusting stuff from the drain regularly. I told the front desk of this in the morning. The next day... again, overflowing. No action was taken. When I again complained, the reaction was that \"I told the maintenance staff of this issue\". No apology, no nothing. Just a bad attitude. In addition, the breakfast service was also very much 4/10 experience due to the service, despite being ridiculously priced at 27 euros. I had to ask to have the table wiped because it was cleared but not cleaned, for example.

To be honest... this is just not acceptable attitude and service so I will take my money elsewhere since I travel very regularly to Hamburg.

The location is fantastic. The U1 is right outside, which makes getting anywhere very easy. There are also many sites you can easily walk to like Miniature Wonderland and St Nikolai church.
The buffet breakfast was fantastic and totally worth the add on.
The only complaint that I have is that the air conditioning didn’t seem to do much of anything. We turned in on full blast and could barely feel anything coming out.

Feel like home in a small studio

If you prefer a small studio with your own kitchen and bar table this is the place. Felt like home and very good facilities from sauna, gym and swimming, although bit small for the amount of people when it gets busy but if there is no one it is perfect. But if a walking distance to public transport and centre, nevertheless would recommend if you stay longer and want something more to give a bit of home feeling this is the place.

If you want air conditioning you may not get it. We booked 6 rooms for a family trip and 3 of them did not have working air conditioning. Management later acknowledged they are trying to repair the rooms that are not working, but they do not have a clear timeline and did not share this info until after our stay.

The only odd thing was that you were only able to rent a coffee machine and it was not already available as it is in many other hotels. Not an issue though as they make great coffee at a cafe next door.

Note that the bathroom is only separated with a sliding door. And don't expect too much of a view either. Overall a very nice stay.

We very much enjoyed our stay. The room was spacious and clean, with a fully-equipped kitchen. The only downsides I would say were 1) no complimentary water, and 2) the air-con control panel was impossible to figure out. We woke up in the middle of the night sweating and couldn't figure out how to turn the temperature down. This was resolved the next day when the receptionist adjusted the setting from the front desk.

Room had large windows which gave a great view of the old warehouse buildings.

New, classy, very nice staff, nice pool on first floor with window views of Speicherstadt. Had a microwave/oven combination which is not common. Great location.

Only one problem. The chairs by the small dining counter in our studio apt had extremely sharp edges & were very hard. I didn't get cut, but managed to bruise myself. It's a shame that such a comfortable, even elegant, hotel would despoil itself with those horrible chairs.

Great spot from which to enjoy Hamburg

The suite was great with a clever inclusion of lots of home equipjent such ashob, cooker/microwave, washer dryer, dishwasher, extractor fan etc. The room was a good siźe and clean. We used the pool acouple of times which was small but nice. It wax in a good spot to walk to all of the attractions within 30-40 minutes at most.

All the important things were great. Cleanliness of property, friendliness of staff, internal kitchen facilities etc.
The gym facilities were not the best but they were certainly okay to use for a couple of days.
The one minor issue was the coffee machine was not working for breakfast but it was a minor fault on an otherwise excellent stay.
Other points to note: the pool is not heated and there is no spa.
I would definitely stay here again as it is great value for money and spacious inside, and has excellent sound deadening as upon closing the window it becomes very quiet inside.

Lovely apartment; breakfast was quite good. We would have loved to have a bathtub in the apartment and also pillows could be harder. Soft pillows gave me neck problems and although housekeeping tried to change pillows, the new ones were still too soft for comfort.

Love the sauna! This was our second stay here and was yet again an enjoyable experience. The rooms were clean, the bathroom shower and in-room kitchen are amazing, and it included a washer/ dryer combo. The staff are always very friendly and willing to help, just ask and they do their best to help, including advice for the surrounding area and help with transportation to the airport. Checked in and out with no problems. Located within a short walking distance to nearly everything in center city Hamburg, this hotel is a perfect choice for an at home feel in a very safe area while here, with a sauna and pool to relax after a day exploring the city. It’s been a wonderful place to stay on both occasions and would very happily book another stay in the future!
