Best hotel that I have ever stayed in in Hamburg. Location, layout, cleanliness, design - all top notch. Compared to the average American hotel room the size of the rooms might be a tick small, but they make up for it in every other category. Whenever I come back to Hamburg I won't stay anywhere else.

My room was spotless, comfortable and well designed. The staff is what really made our stay special. We were greeted with personal attention and smiles and they made us feel warm and accommodated. Especially the young black man at the front desk, quiet and professional yet warm and on task.

Nice check in, but had to checkout at 4am for a flight and the service was really bad and they delayed me by 40mins. Not only bad service, but no apology or any type of empathy for the fact they were adding stress to my trip. Absolutely wouldn’t stay there again. Check-in was good though

Loved the historic area!! So close to all the sights! The lady that welcomed us was great!! Although when asked, one staff lady told us there was no Bolt service in Germany and she would call us a taxi. We had been using Bolt in Germany for two weeks, and even Hamburg had the service.

Did not have the breakfast so NA.

Cleanliness was great but some shower tiles had mold that concerned me.

Overall I loved the stay and would definitely recommend the hotel!!

The room was nice and comfortable, but the abcense of a door in a bathroom was a little bit strange. The staff was very nice and helpful. We had a small issue in our bathroom and they solved quickly. The breakfast was reach and fresh.

El hotel esta en una zona muy guapa de la ciudad. Una zona con un contraste de edificaciones modernas y antiguos edificios de los almacenes.

Puedes ir caminando a muchos lugares de interés.

El hotel tiene habitaciones que dan al canal y otras hacia el frente del hotel ( calle ) nosotros nos hospedamos en las que dan a la calle y no sentimos ningún ruido. El staff muy amable, el desayuno muy rico y variado.

Great stay.

Location great, right on waterways beautiful setting. Walk into main city centre not far, hop on hop off bus tour on other side of road. Lots of restaurants near by to eat. Hotel staff v friendly and helpful. Room overlooking waterways was superb. Recommend a stay here.

The hotel is beautiful and I was lucky to get a room right on the canal with a great view. The rooms were well decorated. The only thing I didn't like was the restaurant - there are so many Italian restaurants in that area and this one is supposed to be essentially a new spin on classics but the best part about my meal was the bread - and that's because bread is always good.

The room was beautiful and cosy. My husbands lived in Hamburg in the past and he really loved the view of the Speicherstadt from our room. The super comfy beds were a treat too. Only downsides are it’s a bit further from the town centre and ubahn which we knew at the time of booking so we walked to most places. We arrived on the weekend with a car and there was not really a convenient drop off location. Parking nearby was quite expensive. I would’ve liked a kettle or coffee machine that dispensed hot water too but that doesn’t seem to be common in hotel rooms in Germany from what I’ve noticed.

My husband and I arrived late to the hotel, since we were tired we decided to eat at the Italian restaurant cantinetta, which was still open. Food selection offered non-meat dishes and was very good. The gym was a bit small, equipment worked well and clean. Our room was very comfortable. The attractions in the area were walkable and many popular options for ethnic cuisines. Make reservations ahead of time. Definitely will stay at this hotel should my travels take me backs to Hamburg!

A real gem of an hotel. Immaculately clean and well presented rooms. Staff were friendly and welcoming. Breakfast was a great variety of hot and cold food and plenty of choices. No USB charge points in room was the only thing I found lacking. Would certainly recommend as a base for Miniatur Wonderland visit as just a few minutes walk.

The hotel is in first rate condition, room had a view of the canals and as it’s not a touristy are, git a perfect nights sleep: I’m only giving the area four out of five because to tell the truth, there’s not much there beyond a couple of bars and a couple of restaurants that seemed to close early (if you want something to eat, dine early, I couldn’t find anywhere close to the hotel to go to after nine in the evening)

Great central position to explore all the Hamburg sites. 15 minute walk from U3 station. Opposite hotel route 2 and 6 bus route to central rail station. Reasonable selection of restaurants around opera house 12 minute walk away

Well appointed, excellent location, big car park (for which the entrance is stupidly narrow- but this isn’t the hotel’s fault). The rooms are well appointed and the restaurant is wonderfully over a walkway which for which it and the restaurant are picturesque.

Good stay in a nice hotel.

The hotel was lovely as was the room.
There was no kettle - so I asked about this and one was delivered to the room within 10 minutes - which was great.

We deliberated for a long time over which hotel to choose. I’m glad we picked this one. It’s close’ish’ to a lot of good sights and shopping within Hamburg.
I think, regardless of where you stay you’ll have to do some walking.

The area around the hotel was very picturesque and there were lots of photo opportunities nearby.

Parking was in the APCOA car park next door - no issues with that.
If I was in Hamburg again- I would look at staying here again - which is all you could ask for really.

Nice hotel in an up and coming area (Hafen City). I always stay here. However, breakfast is very very expensive and not much choice at all. In the evening, the menu seems to be very selected and unappealing.
The bar has a nice atmosphere, but the bar manager needs to stop yelling to the staff across the bar what to do etc... as it's very off putting.

The staff was very friendly, professional and helpful!
The room was clean and very comfortable. Lighting was great, bedding was heavy, yet pleasant. The water temperature and pressure was excellent and size of the shower was more than we expected. The only item we were not too happy with was the softness of the mattress as my wife is a belly sleeper, however, that really is a pure preference and not everyone will be pleased.
Location was excellent, right in the Speicherstadt! Everything else was only a few bus or subway stop away,

Overall a very pleasant stay at a very comfortable property.

This is a very nice property, with a convenient location in the Speicherstadt. All the staff was friendly and helpful. Public transportation is right outside the door. The breakfast was excellent, although pricey. I highly recommend. Excellent value!

My second time at this hotel … it’s a newer hotel and in a newer part of the city and is convenient to lots of things. Staff is great and accommodating but the check in because of corona is a bit of a hassle but it’s not their fault … otherwise great stay and breakfast is always very nice

This is a great hotel…. The staff are friendly. It’s very clean, it’s walkable to the city highlights. The restaurant has tasty food. I enjoyed the sauna & rooftop very much!
The room was great—air conditioning was great, it was quiet.
I’d definitely go back!

The location is very convenient to access the central station. Very good facilities and excellent restaurant and breakfast. The only down side is that the gym opens from 9am to 9pm, not allowing people doing business to use it.

I expected more. the basic room was too basic, with air circulation being noisy at night (I turned off air conditioning but still loud), and no air ventilation in toilet!! that was disgusting, as we had to open door to corridor and let air move after we used toilet, otherwise you'd be trapped with smell. also I didn't appreciate shower having no doors, it had a glass door, but then you are immediately in a room, that's weird. no kettle in winter and super expensive tea downstairs. overall 3/5 because toilet oh man it was bad.
