I must admit the pictures looked better than the actual hotel. My room was fine. It was old but a clean, dry serviceable place to lay your head for the night. The room my brother & his wife was in, not so nice. For a non smoking room, you could tell it was smoked in regularly. Plus the bathtub left a lot to be desired because it was small and could barely stand in it. The staff was very friendly and checking/out was speedy. breakfast was reasonable too.

Perfect place to stay in Strasbourg just on the tram-line. Comfortable, excellent breakfast. Easy to drive to the motel of american type, let the car parked here and use tram D for city center.

The hotel is a couple of miles away from the motorway and a dual carriageway just by the side which makes it impossible having a good sleep. The price of having a meal in the restaurant is over exaggerated, paid £7 for a pint of beer, the rooms are old and looked used and would do with some renovation.

It could just be a matter of circumstance, but we intended to just stop here and get a night's rest and move on the next day. The machine that dispenses keys after hours didn't work and the two numbers posted were not answered. After about 1 1/2 of getting ourselves trapped in the lot because the gate closed behind us, we finally found a number and got a hold of someone.

Was in town just for one night. Wanted a hotel close to the Zenith arena. Cost 15€ for a taxi there. And 15€ for a taxi back. Room could use a deep cleaning. Just felt a little dirty, but beds and sheets were clean. As was the bathroom. Dinner hours for the restaurant weren't until 1900, which sucked because the show started at 2000. Close by market, with little to no selection for food. Bring snacks and water with you.

We were given a room in the first floor building opposite the main hotel. The room was clean and spacious and had tea making facilities. The room was light and airy and there was plenty of parking spaces in front of the hotel.

The hotel was easy to find, had a secure gated parking area, was clean & tidy. The man on reception was very helpful & polite. All in all, an ideal stopover location for our 900 mile trip down through Europe. Woke refreshed the next morning and after the continental buffet breakfast we were on our way again. Have saved the hotel details and would happily stay there again if venturing in that area.

We were planning to stay at the Campanile Tinqueux but due to delays in Switzerland, we were tired and stopped earlier. We booked a double and single. We arrived late hoping to eat in the restaurant but it was closed so went straight to bed. The room wasn't very clean at all and the bathroom smelt of stale urine. As we were so tired we got straight into bed which was clean and comfortable luckily. We had a long journey the next day so were disappointed to find that the water was cold so could not have a shower. We would not stay here again.

Close o tram station (about 5 min walking) to the city center. The hotel and rooms are clean, very nice staffs with good English, I was excited to find the appliance to make hot boiled water in my room, free parking (need passcode after 11:00 pm to enter/exit) and wireless, nice breakfast. The only problem is no lift, so people with heavy luggages may want to book ground floor rooms in advance.

In Strasboug Tram is the only way to travel but you need a map of the system; once mastered it's superb.
(3) If you are a wheelchair user or need a lift tell them in good time since there are no lifts and you will need accommodation on the ground floor. Children will need supervision on the outside stairs.

We stayed here on our way back from Itlay to England as an over night stop. It was not a suitable area for that as there was nothing nearby open. The restaurant was closed at weekends so we had to find somewhere to eat which was limited. Although the receptionist suggested a pizzeria nearby which served a variety of food and was very good.

Hotel Campinile Ouest in Strasbourg - affordable
As a group of 12 ladies on a visit to the European Parliament we stayed in this hotel which was in our budget range. Although I would class it as a motel I would recommend it to anyone who does not mind walking or travelling by tram. Our hotel rooms were clean and comfortable and breakfast was adequate. It was a ten minute walk to the tram station which took 5 - 10 minutes to reach the city centre.

Hôtel calme, bien situé près du Zénith. L'état de propreté de la salle de bain très moyen. Personnel accueillant mais peu serviable. Nous avons demandé our un petit en cas à 23h30, ils n'ont même pas su nous proposer un simple morceau de pain avec un bout de fromage ou un yaourt, alors qu'ils ont tout ce qu'il faut pour les petits déjeuners.

Hôtel situé à proximité de Strasbourg (la ligne D passe à côté, arrêt Marcel Rudloff à 5 minutes à pied .. attention erreur sur la présentation de l'hôtel). Tramway direct pour la gare ou le centre (très pratique). Accueil très agréable ef chaleureux. Une chambre très propre, de bonne taille, une salle de bain bien équipée; wifi efficace. Une petite carte d'accueil sur le bureau. Bonne literie. Peut-être faudrait-il ajouter un plateau avec bouilloire avec café ou thé .. Petit déjeuner fourni, de bonne qualité et varié. Environnement mitigé (pas de restaurant ou magasin à proximité sans voiture).

Das Kyriad Strasbourg Ouest ist eine gepflegte, zweckmäßige Unterkunft mit fairem Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis. Sie liegt etwas außerhalb vom Stadtzentrum, das aber mit der Straßenbahn in wenigen Minuten erreichbar ist. Die Haltestelle ist nur ein paar Schritte vom Hotel entfernt und die Bahnen fahren alle paar Minuten. Man darf keinen Luxus erwarten, aber die Zimmer sind funktional und sauber, die Betten bequem. Das Hotel liegt zwar direkt neben einer Schnellstraße, aber bei geschlossenem Fenster hört man davon kaum etwas. Das Frühstück war sehr in Ordnung, frisches Baguette, Croissants und weiteres Gebäck, Pfannkuchen, Marmeladen, Honig, u.s.w. Außerdem Schinken, Käse, Joghurt, Säfte, etc. Der Kaffee aus dem Vollautomaten war sehr gut. Wer keinen großen Wert auf eine überkandidelte Ausstattung legt, ist hier gut aufgehoben. Kostenlose Parkplätze direkt im Innenhof, so dass das Hotel für Gäste, die mit dem Auto anreisen, ideal ist. Der Empfang war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Ich habe mich dort wohl gefühlt.

La chambre n'était pas propre à notre arrivée: toiles d’araignées au plafond, traces de gouttes suspectes sur l'abattant des toilettes, le miroirs sur le dos de la porte d'entrée était recouvert de traces de produit de nettoyage ( les traces du produit utilisé pour le nettoyage persistaient sur le miroir et cela ne donnait pas l'impression d'un nettoyage sérieux). Il y avait un radiateur d'appoint dans la chambre qui empiétait l'espace devant le bureau. La chambre est dans son jus et n'a pas été rénovée depuis très longtemps: de nombreux coups sur les portes et les plaintes, un parquet flottant très piétiné, et un lavabo fissuré à ne nombreux endroits, des lumières qui ne s'allument pas dans la salle de bains et des interrupteurs qui ne fonctionnent pas dans la chambre. A plus de 120€ la nuit, le rapport qualité/prix est très médiocre.

On voit que la femme de ménage fait de son mieux mais le bâtiment est vieux et la SDB mériterait une rénovation. Je ne trouve pas que le prix de la chambre soit adapté. C’est trop cher pour ce que c’est. Points positifs : Chauffage avec thermostat. Chauffage individuel et manuel dans la SDB, housse de couette, très bonne isolation. Les coursives permettent de sortir directement pour fumer. Dernier point : petit déjeuner annoncé 9,90 E mais paiement de plus de 23 E pour deux. En résumé, c’est trop cher.
