Staff was very nice, food in the morning was okay .

Room was outdated and there were tiny ants along the corners of the room.
Only one elevator working at the time we were there and our room key kept deactivating . So running back and forth to the lobby (the only air conditioned place in the building besides the room ) was what we spend a majority of time doing while on the property.

The hotel is in a prime location just a 6 minute walk to the Copacabana beach. The twin room was not very spacious but sufficient for two.

The cleanliness and services were okay. Our bathroom gathered a few ants and our bedsheets were not changed until we requested changes towards the end of our stay. Breakfast was average as well.

Overall, we still enjoyed our stay with Nobile given the reasonable price point and convenience.

The room on arrival was at the front of the hotel situated just off the main road, sadly it was noisy. We were moved to a room for disabled people, but the room was a standard lower than purchased. it was supposed to have a coffee machine etc, but the hotel wouldn't supply one. I would not choose this hotel as a member of staff was confrontational.

BEWARE! Spend the extra money to stay elsewhere!

The hotel room was disgusting. It was extremely humid in the hotel between the lobby, the restaurant, the hallway, and in the actual room. There was also trash sitting on the window sill in one of the hallways. I saw it because I initially went to the 3rd floor but my room was actually on the 13th floor. The room was small which was fine for me because I was solo. I noticed some stains on the ceiling. I'm unsure as to what they were. I wanted to take a shower and noticed there were no face towels. I called the front desk and asked for some. After I called, I checked the bed for any dirty sheets and found both dirty sheets and dirty pillowcases. I called the front desk back for the sheets to be changed. The front desk told me to ask housekeeping when they arrived. When housekeeping arrived, I tried to explain the situation as best I could. She misunderstood the initial request and brought toilet tissue. I went to grab the towel from the towel rack to show her, then the towel rack broke off. That was the last straw for me. I packed my suitcase back up and checked out. They offered a room change but I didn't think it was worth a try.

I asked hotels.com for a refund. They had to ask Nobile. Nobile said no, which is absolutely ridiculous as I didn't receive what was expected. I'm currently disputing the charge with my bank. Book at your own risk. I later stayed at the Mirador Hote and at Olinda Rio. Would definitely recommend both hotels.

Buen hotel en Copacabana, excelente zona muy cerca de la av. Atlantico, con supermercados, casas de cambio, agencias de turismo, restaurantes y mucho más. Destaco la amabilidad del recepcionista del mediodía, Andrés, muy servicial y profesional en todo momento. El desayuno del hotel es maravilloso, vale la
pena 100%. Lo único que deberían mejorar es la ropa de cama, deja mucho que desear, las sábanas en mal estado, viejas y se salen del colchón.

You get what you pay for.

AC stopped working both days. I needed a fork, was told I had to pay for it. Shower was more like a faucet. Breakfast was ok. The maintenance guys were quick and the housekeeper was nice.. But anytime you call the front desk, they seem very bothered. Would not stay there again.

Localizacao perfeita, mas Hotel não está bem mantido, café da manhã muito fraco e salão com falta de higiene. Funcionarios do salão não atenciosos, buffet mau servido e nem sempre reposto, exposição de comida nada apresentável. O pior de tudo foi Qd precisei de uma colher para tomar uma medicação no quarto e a funcionária do salão negou completamente emprestar. Tive que sair e ir no Bob’s ao lado pedir uma colher plástica. Isto é o cúmulo. No quarto encontrei um pé de meia sujo dentro do armário. Infelizmente não foi uma boa hospedagem.

Check in was so slow, seems very disorganized. And didn’t feel any welcome attitude. No smile no hospitality. I was supposed to book luxury room, but In the room, very minimum amenities no coffee maker or electric kettle as described but full of snacks and beverages with charge. First day there are brand new towels not even washed. Second day they changed but very bad conditions one like grayish old rags. I even not use that conditions one in my home, can’t believe they use for guest. Pillowcases also has some stains. Should not use for the guset!
Especially in front people the service is the motel level. I feel this was over charged. I don’t know this is the average of Rio de Janeiro? Sadly I won’t recommend.

The work culture of this business is in trouble. The staff is irritable probably because they are desperately under-staffed and under-trained. You walk in and the place is chaos. There are too many guest rooms for the breakfast room, lobby, and reception. The breakfast room can be withiut forks or bowls for over a half hour.

The front desk people are not welcoming and helpful but defensive, probably because they get many complaints.

The rooms are small and poorly maintained. The safe in our room had no batteries and the handle to the bathroom would pull off. We noted this on check-in.

The expedia rating for this hotel is 4 starts but in reality this is a 3 start hotel. The facilities were clean but in need of some love. Our bath sink was clogged, the safe didn't work and the keys didn't work as expected. Have to make magnetized our keys everyday. However daily breakfast was ok and the staff very professional and friendly.

We are still currently staying at property. We had 1 issue that was quite disturbing: at 930 pm last night - housekeeping entered our room with a pass key to ask if we needed towels (which we did not call for). We reported this to the front desk and they did not seem concerned that housekeeping was entering guest rooms at night.
Also since our flight was arriving in the early morning, we decided to book & prepay for a room for the night before so we wouldn’t have to wait for check in time. Our room was not ready and we had to wait for housekeeping to finish cleaning the room and we were denied the breakfast @ 10:02 because the desk took 30 minutes to check us in.
We did enjoy the breakfast the next day and the front desk personnel are friendly and overall the room is fine.

Barely enough, but good location for Rio trip

Run-down old hotel, not clean enough. At first I was terribly disappointed, but got used to it. Looks like the haven't done enough restorations and maintenance since the year 2000.

Kind receptionists, kind cleaning staff.
Comfortable bed.
Toiletries are barely enough: soap melts away.

Lobby is very dirty: they don't even clean the dust! The entire lobby is very very dirty.

Terribly cold in the dining room, where there are not enough places for all the hungry guests unless you get up at 7 AM.

Good location near the Arcoverde metro station and close to the Copacabana beach and a number of small shops. But the area is quite dirty with homeless thugs, shady creeps all around harassing travelers.

This hotel is acceptable, if you want to save money and need a location where taxi stations, metro, Copacabana, shops are accessible. But there are better (more expensive) hotels in the area.

English speaking receptionist, very accomodating. I knew I'd shown up early but was just hoping I could just leave my bags at reception and grab lunch until the appropriate time but was allowed to check in 4 hours early. Walking distance to anywhere in Copabanana, the area fealt safe and there were plenty of restaurants and shops nearby to choose from and the metro station is directly across the street should you wish to go farther afield.

pros - if you use the metro the hotel is situated opposite a station , wifi works good , hotel is 3 roads back from Copacobana beach approx 5 minute walk , lots of bars / restaurents very close to the hotel , nice friendly staff

This hotel was very basic. Check-in took 15-20 minutes, even though our reservation was prepaid. The bed were so hard, they were not comfortable. The views outside the room was of an awful inner courtyard, and our window was half obstructed. The positive thing was it was extremely quiet, even on New Year’s Eve. However, the area itself is not nice, but this isn’t the fault of the hotel. Overall, i would say expect a very basic place to sleep, and that’s it.

The Nobile Hotel Copacabana Design in Rio de Janeiro has 2 good things going for it. It is very close to the beach and at least the 2 rooms we had on 2 different floors were very clean.
Rooms are not large, the bed and 1 chair just fit in the room. Me and my wife could not walk around the bed side by side anywhere in the room.
The Beds were square and very hard. Not a lump or soft spot in them. The pillows we had were a combination of one extra firm and the other became as flat as a sheet of paper once you laid on it.
The TV that was on the opposite wall is not for those with seeing deficiencies. The wall slot made for a TV was huge but I did not know they made TV’s that small anymore. I think it was 21inch maybe a little bigger. There was no blanket when we arrived I had to ask for 2 from the reception and they looked at me funny when I did so. The bed just came with a Top Sheet.
The bathroom like I mentioned before smelled the clean scent of bleach and ammonia, the smell you wish in a hotel bathroom. The towels were clean but they need to buy new ones. They had been washed so many times their were no fibers left on large cloths to actually dry yourself with. The bathroom ventilation was also so poor nothing would dry in their if you hung up the towels so needed to get new ones everyday.

The rooms are wonderfully designed, furniture is modern, well-kept, but they are small. The Steph seriously needs training in customer service. It’s a check in the receptionist couldn’t find my reservation, later when I requested a blanket I was told they are short staffed and couldn’t look for one, and when I asked for a receipt they said that they couldn’t provide one!

Not so good. Check-in took longer than expected, the Front Desk agent wasn’t very organized. Got to the room and it was very humid, due to a/c system only working when the key is placed in the interlock device. One of the bath towel was with a burnt hole through it. Returning to the room from the streets on the second day interlock on the door was not working, there was no maintenance personnel due to the time, past midnight. So, the Front Desk had to put us in another room for the night and in the morning I had to take out my belongings, and return to the new room, because the lock was defective. The dining room for Breakfast was insane, we decided to skip it both days.

I would stay there again for sure! They also organized my covid test for travel and let me check in early! Great AC too!

The property is convenient to several grocery stores and restaurants in the neighborhood and the train station isn't but a block or two away. The breakfast was very good and the the front desk staffis fluent in English and very helpful. Phillipe at the front desk was the best and he gave suggestions for dining in the area and helping to set up our covid test for the return trip back to the U.S. The rooms are very small but clean and renovated but the lighting in the hallway is very dim, especially at night. The cleaning staff does need to do a better job in ridding the shower of hair in the bathrooms but other than, it was a really good stay and I felt safe. There isn't a pool but Copacabana beach is only two blocks away. Overall, it was a very comfortable stay and I would stay here again.

Stay was ok. Area looked a bit shady at night because of the escorts in the area but it was far enough (1 -2 blocks) away to not be too crazy. Hotel is nice. Breakfast is A1 with a lot of great options. Rooms are super small. We were given an \"upgrade\" so we can't imagine what the regular room would look like. For the bathroom, my spouse and I had an ongoing joke about going to the telephone booth as it's SUPER small.

Overall, not bad but for the price paid, can find better options.

Found this hotel for a good price. Its 2 blocks from the beach, the famous copocabana palace hotel and also the station. But who takes public transportation with uber and escooter available. Felt safe walking around the area even in the evening. Plenty of local food options nearby. The room was small but adequate for a single person or even 2. The bed sheets were clean. Towels were clean but looked older but that's fine. Tropical water has minerals. I would be ok with using less bleach as long as they are clean.Friendly reception.

Perfect location ! two blocks away from Copacabana beach, right across the street from the Metro. Plenty of shops and restaurants around. Rooms are small but very comfortable and recently remodeled. The price was very good for such a good and convenient place to stay. Breakfast was really good.

The price paid for the room was very affordable, and it was a very comfortable room even though it was small. Good breakfast and wifi signal. This hotel looks brand new.

Nice, Comfy and quiet.

The hotel is very comfy. Clean and quiet. Good retreat in the middle of busy Copacabana. Location is great. Good service and very yummy breakfast. For a 3-star hotel I liked the place.

Would not stay again

Gave us the wrong bedroom twice, we had paid for a more expensive one. Bedsheets smelled used. The lobby got flooded because of the rain and there was nobody to clean it or help us get out of the place.

I found this place to be excellent value.

The room was clean and comfortable. Great shower. The breakfast was a good spread, although it was always difficult to find a clean table: the staff were working hard; there just weren't enough tables. WiFi was workable. All staff were outstandingly helpful. Great location, only a short walk to the beach, or to anything else. Directly across the road from the metro station. I would not hesitate to stay here again.

Great hotel in Copa

Nice hotel in Copa, just in front of the metro which is very convenient. Many restaurants near the hotel. Rooms are modern and very nice. The housekeeping could improve but other than that I was very satisfied.

Very nice hotel located just across the Metro station that runs across all the famous beaches in Rio. Never felt the need to take a taxi. Very good breakfast and a safe location. Good security and overall service.

The location of hotel is good. It is about 5 minutes to Copacabana Beach. There are a lot of restaurants to be selected for dinner. The room is small. Metro station is cross street.

Only one of the receptionist was actually helpful. We did not get iron board throughout our 6 day stay. Our tv had to be replaced 3 times as it would just freeze on us. Location of the hotel is very good and had comfortable beds as well. So I have neutral rating for the hotel.
