A clean property which, in my room, suffered from many marks on the wall where previous guests had been careless with baggage. Nonetheless the room was clean and very quiet. The bathroom was also very clean,it was very small but everything worked as it should. Breakfast spread was fine. The hotel is a very short walk from Hamburg railway station and there are a number of bars and restaurants nearby. Perfect for a short stay and remarkably good value.

Very noisy, no aircon but great location

Location of the hotel is excellent, however there was no aircon in the room. This would force you to keep one of the windows open, but this wouldn't let you sleep due to constant excessive noise.

Nice room, shame about the rest of it

The location near the central station was excellent and being down a side street I hoped that would mean less noise from outside but I was wrong. There is no air conditioning so we needed the windows open at night. As we were on the first floor, that meant a lot of noise from people all night. I mean A LOT of screaming, shouting drunks. I hardly slept the whole time we were there. The room is very comfortable, modern and spacious but there was a complete lack of any amenities. No way to make a coffee, no glass to use in the bathroom, no telephone to call reception, no extra pillows or blankets, no water or minibar, etc. There is also no restaurant or bar in the hotel so if you fid yourself thirsty or hungry, too bad. And, Im sorry to say but the staff on Front Desk are not friendly. Its a shame because the room is decorated beautifully and the location is great but the noise and ack of amenities mean I would not stay here again.

Steps away from hauptbahnhoff, room were okey but the toilet was so so small. Someone fat coul barely use shower as it is square shaped and extremely small. There is no room service, so that there is no phone available in the room. Unfortunately there were no slippers which was a total disappointment for me. Besides, one night i went downstairs to get some water, however, they told me that they do not have still water. I dont know what to say. The front office team was polite in general but wont gonna stay there again.

Very nice design hotel but very Simple as well - no coffee maker in the room. The room I got was smaller then showing in the pics and they upgraded me for free. It will be a good idea to update the rooms pics in Expedia so it will answer the expectations.

LOVE this hotel

Fabulous experience and wonderfully priced. We absolutely loved our stay in this hotel. My partner had to work and there was a large desk in our room where he was able to get his work done. The service was great and the hotel was modern and clean. We would stay here again in a heartbeat!

The property is in an excellent position near Hamburgs main Rail station. Rooms are small so the 3 nights we stayed would be a maximum, if you had large luggage I would suggest the larger triple room. It is a great place though, I would stay again in the winter, but summertime would be too hot as the rooms have no AC so it would be a bit harsh.
Happy to recommend for a short break and the staff were very good

Lovely hotel, very close to Hamburg central train station.
Staff were lovely and very helpful.
Luggage storage available - perfect as we arrived early morning but we're able to leave luggage and start exploring before booking in.
Our room for 3 was spacious, double bed and bed settee but we were not on top of each other. Lovely decor.
Only fault....does not have air con...
We arrived in a mini heatwave..having windows open did mean it was noisy.

Staff don't know their job. Five times their Ecard for the room was not working. I had to do up and down. They charge extra for the water more than the price they have fixed. On asking receipt they were reluctant to give and I had to chase them for it and next day they came up with receipt, depicting less amount. And they returned amount which they took initially. Room was very uncomfortable. Internet was not working. For every problem they had only word to say \"its a technical issue\". I asked them to clarify how charging extra money is technical issue. They were all speechless.

Not great neghborhood, but the hotel is ideally located close to the Hauptbahnhof. Convenient when you have business to attend to in the city and in the Hamburg region. Minimum comfort at the hotel, but it's OK when you are traveling for work.

Great location for station and central city.

Booked two rooms - one was great the other one awful: the bathroom in our room was so small you had to squeeze past the door to get in. You couldn't bend over in the shower (forget shaving your legs!). It was ridiculous!! Such bad design in a lovely, modern hotel. Be careful when you book!!!

Location was good, behind the train station. But the service staffs were unfriendly and unhelpful, also there’s no phone in the hotel, and was supposed to contact the front desk by a device in the room but had no reply from them at all. After a few hours at 11pm when were asleep, someone banged our door to follow up......... no kettle in the room, only provided a small bottle of water for the first night even if you stay a few nights.

Good sound choice of hotel.

The hotel is ideally situated right next to the main station and is only a short walk from the start of the city centre. Good shops and restaurants nearby. The hotel was warm and comfortable and perfect as a base to explore the city. The room was spacious and had all the facilities needed for a comfortable stay. Our room had lovely decor. It had the usual city sounds from outside but nothing to disturb too much. All in all very satisfied with our choice and would happily stay again or recommend this hotel.

This hotel is in a great area and location, and also close to gay bars and clubs. The hotel is very new, very clean and comfortable. We found the bathroom small and the room would have been perfect if it had a cupboard instead of open storage. There are quite a few good food options close by and the central train station is a few minutes walk. I would definitely stay here if I visit Hamburg again.

Great hotel in a slightly seedy location

The hotel looks like it has been recently renovated so looks new. Very clean and comfortable. Spacious, modern bathroom.
Windows look over inner courtyard facing other buildings so there's a bit of noise but wasn't excessive.
Staff are very friendly and helpful, make you feel welcome. Breakfast choices were adequate and it was clean.
Convenient location, close to the main bus hub and train station. Ten-minute walk to the shops in the city centre. The immediate area of the hotel is a little bit seedy and colourful. It didn't bother me and I saw plenty of travellers in the area but thought I should mention it as others might not feel comfortable here.

I left my earrings in the hotel room. After check out I went back to see if they were handed in. The reception staff said she hadn’t been told anything. I asked her to take my name and phone number which she refused to do. She also didn’t make any further enquiries looking at cleaners logs or speaking to them directly.
I had to rush to catch a flight so unfortunately couldn’t speak to management.

Overall, small boutique refurnished hotel, I requested twin beds rather than a double bed but the hotel arranged a double bed with two twin bed combined. Never mind, the nice receptionist also showed us the only twin room at top floor mainly for kids and so....all The room was newly decorated except no minibar and no other facilities, just for a sleep is perfect.

For a boutique hotel we were disappointed with the lack of any refreshment facilities - no tea or coffee making available, the tv didn't work and the lack of English speaking workers available was below parr for a hotel. The rooms were fresh and clean and looked the part, I liked the full length mirror which you usually don't get but a few things were lacking that would bring this hotel up to scratch to the 'boutique' level. Location was easy to find and great to get around from being right outside central station. Please add tea and coffee facilities. A big German cleaner was menacing and rude on our last day and we weren't asked if we enjoyed our stay or communicated with much. Needs work.

Great central location

This hotel is recently refurbished and the room was decorated to a high standard. We were on the seventh floor and the room was a little on the small side but fine for our purposes since we were out exploring Hamburg during the day (we specifically requested twin beds rather than a double bed and this is the only option, I think double rooms or rooms for three people are bigger). It did get very warm at night even with the windows open and heating off but I think this is probably down to being in the roof, I'm not sure if other rooms have the same issue.

I would stay here again as the hotel staff were very friendly and helpful and it is in a great location, about two minutes' walk from the main station and a short walk to the main shopping street, Kunsthalle and other museums. Also close to some nice restaurants and cafes. It's stylishly decorated as the name suggests!

Opposite to Central railway station (Hbf). Clean. Strong Wi-Fi (free) in the all areas. 24h Reception. Safely area inside building. Close to Hamburger Kunsthalle. Rich and tasty breakfast! BUT: there is NOT tea- and coffee-making facilities in the rooms. And NO slippers!!! NO bathrobe!

The room was not clean, did not feel like putting my stuff on the floor! The entire hotel only had \"ONE\" iron, the people in the reception was not helping me to reserve the iron even I asked him, and I could not iron my shirt before attending a conference.

The hotel doesn't look like it's been renovated since the 1960s. Sadly the retro charm is missing. The bathroom was filthy, mould everywhere, and the cleanliness of the corridors left much to be desired. One of the fire doors in the hallway didn't open very easily which made me very concerned in the event of a real emergency. The carpet was filthy, the TV was an old box type and I didn't even want to take anything out of my suitcase. Breakfast selection was poor.

Good Stay in St Georg area of Hamburg

Very basic hotel. I stayed in a private room with a shared bath, though there were rooms with private baths as well. The bathroom was clean, as well as the linens and my room. The room had a slight smell, the bed was a little creaky, and the walls are a bit thin. It was not a problem for sleeping though - I am not neither a heavy sleeper nor a light sleeper, I'm somewhere in between.

That said this hotel seemed worth the value since it is less than 5 minutes walk to the train station, buses, metro, and a great art museum. There are also plenty of bars and restaurants in the area.

From the airport, S-bahn took me to the hotel without transfer. It took less than 10 minutes from the hotel to the platform of ICE. Not only S-bahn station but also two U-bahn stations are close to the hotel.

The hotel is located in a great location, however, this hotel looks like it is 500 years old. The rooms are really dated, the bathrooms are dirty, the toilet and shower were dirty, but the bathroom in the dining area was spotless. So, that shows that the cleaning staff are capable of cleaning selective bathrooms effectively.

All of the TV stations are in German except for CNN

The staff was pleasant, the manager not so welcoming.

Breakfast was wonderful every morning, and the serving staff for breakfast were very nice and friendly, always greeting you each morning with a smile and a \"good morning\".
