Very cold room. Windows are not properly insulated. We can feel wind blowing all night long through the cracks at the windows. The rooms were smelly, but the bed was OK. The only thing good thing I can say the shuttle service was good. It is OK to stay over one night if you have to catch the flight early in the morning. .

Hotel is very nice as I have stayed there before. The main reason my rating is low is because I had to pay slightly higher price by $8 than what was shown while booking. This is not related to currency exchange at all. Instead, additional fees was hidden and not disclosed and is unacceptable for any amount.

The basic room was fine, but we had a frustrating experience during check-in. We arrived 12 minutes early, and the staff made us sit and wait until the exact check-in time, which seemed unreasonable since the rooms were ready. She simply said, “It’s not check-in time,” and that was it.

Afterward, we went to eat because we hadn't had anything all day. The website stated that the restaurant opened at 4 PM, but when we arrived, they informed us it would only open at 6 PM. After waiting until 6 PM, we had to wait a long time just to be seated.

I ordered soup, but it was bland, and the egg rolls were frozen in the middle. When I expressed my concern, they just put them back in the deep fryer, making them extremely oily. I ended up not eating them.

There were only two pillows and both of them were not meant for sleeping, and they were very small.The service was very slow there was only one person behind the desk, and there was a long line.There was a tissue box with only two tissues left. There should also be a bigger variety of breakfast.

Although we had a decent stay at this hotel both times we stayed there, there are a few things worth pointing out. The staff unfortunately has a somewhat cold touch to their demeanor. The 2nd time around, we found a dirty cup in our room and the bathroom seemed to have been cleaned in a rush. On December 31st when guest most likely would have liked to sit around the bar and socialize a bit......it was closed. I have never experienced this before at any hotel.

The room was not that clean, and the light over the sink did not work. The situation with the shuttle is very bad; it is an old bus that serves various different types of Ibis hotels and is not nearly big enough.

The hotel itself if very nice: I appreciate the decor, the free coffee, the friendly staff, and the proximity to the Amsterdamse Bos. The prices are good and I will come back again provided the shuttle improves.

The bar offers a very good pizza!

Receptionist to hotel on our arrival was a bit more casual than i would like in her customer service attitude.

The soap dispensers in the room don't function well. The pump heads come off easily, and you have to put them back on in just the correct position for them to be able to function. None of them were hanging from their wall mounts as designed.

There are three Ibus hotels that the shuttle services with NO prior info to that effect. So we got off at the hotel stop but it was not our hotel. Had to wait 40 minutes for the next shuttle. Upon arrival the room they assigned had no heat and they had to bring in a space heater.

In general, quite a reasonable option for an overnight lay over.
The stuff is nice and helpful.
The shuttle was easy to find, but they have 3 IBIS hotels and ours (Styles) was the last stop from the airport and the fist stop back. Stay at IBIS Airport to save time on that ride.
Breakfast was overpriced for what it offered and we decided to have it at the airport.
The heat in the room was not working. By the time we realized it, we had no energy for a room change.

The shuttle service worked well, though it took a while to get to and from the airport as the bus stops at all three Ibis hotels. Not a problem, but I'd recommend staying at the 'Styles' hotel.
The bar food looked tasty and the atmosphere around the bar area is very nice. I'd stay there again.

Semi clean room, dust on places where you don’t normally see that’s why it’s overlooked; shuttle bus comes but late 5-10 minutes, helpful in transporting to airport to take train;; room space tight even for only 2 people;no amenities AT ALL (kettle,3 hangers,2 rolls of toilet part,2 pillow cases). If you are not picky, this hotel is your place.

Each staff member we dealt with was courteous and friendly. From the front desk being super welcoming to the breakfast staffer who gave me a banana when I asked if I could purchase it, they were very accommodating. Most of all, when we booked an extra night due to a flight cancellation , and then were able to rebook the flight and didn't need it after all, the manager went above and beyond by applying our payment to a night on our return trip rather than us forfeiting the whole amount due to being past the cancellationwindow

The hotel was fine.
HOWEVER. The shuttle from the airport was a nightmare. Nowhere in the instructions from the hotel did it mention there is more than one Ibis Hotel and therefore more than one shuttle, or that the shuttle made stops, or not, depending on the shuttle, at the various hotels. The shuttle was so packed that we were crammed in like sardines. Then we got off at the wrong hotel - no announcements on the bus - no signs anywhere - or any way for us to know this until after we waited in line to check in. We then needed to wait another hour for a shuttle to our hotel, which was the Ibis Styles. The entire process took about 3 hours! Stay at another hotel or take a cab!

The hotel was very modern and clean with friendly staff. It was also great to have a free transfer to and from the airport. The rooms were spacious and comfortable, the cleaners were also really lovely. It would have been better to have had a kettle in the room instead of having the pay anytime you want hot water or coffee. The only other negative is that I feel the breakfast was overpriced for what you got. Overall a really great stay, would recommend if wanting to stay near to the airport.

A great buffet dinner and breakfast were part of this very reasonably priced accommodation, along with an excellent room. Though the parking garage was full at my arrival, I parked on the street adjacent to the hotel. The staff was welcoming and anxious to help with questions. Of all the hotels on my 5-week trip, this was at the top of the list.

Check in began with them not excepting cash and making us use our card, incurring extra exchange fees. Then at dinner we were to,d the fridge was broken so could only get pizza, so we ordered pizza to only see another guest eating Snitzel a half hour later. I asked about it and was told by accident he got Snitzel and it’s only for the staff, WHAT. Again wanted to pay cash and we‘re told no card.

The only thing was when we tried to dine at the restaurant downstairs, waiter informed us that they can only serve pizza and salad coz of freezer issues, bummer! There are three Ibis hotels. I was in the nicest one and it was fine. The shuttle only runs every 40 minutes from the airport which is a nuisance if you miss it. My room was not available when I arrived at 1 pm ( fair enough) so I dropped my back pack and took their shuttle back to the airport to get the train into town. There is no easy access to town from the hotel if you don't have a car. The front desk was not staffed at 6 pm when I returned and a number of us were waiting for about ten minutes for the front desk guy to show up. The room and bathroom were clean and quiet. For an overnight next to the airport, it was good. For exploring Amsterdam I'd find somewhere closer to town.

The property did not tell customer what color of Ibis Hotel they belong. We getoff the shutter bus in wrong hotel. Take us more than one and half hour to goto the right hotel. And we only have few hour left for touring the city！ The bus driver did not tell customer which Hotel they arived caused a lot of cufusion！You can Improve by put some broadcast on bus let people know which hotel they arrived to avoid the confusion！

I like that it has a free shuttle to the airport and back and what i didn't like was the fact that someone smoked in their room and ofcourse the fire alarm was activated and we are ask to vacate and didn't get a proper instruction from a staff that its already sorted. So we are out in the cold waiting and nobody said a word.

The property overall was pretty good.
But i rate 0 star with the shuttle service, that was the main reason i chose this hotel and this was a situation, i was in the lobby waiting for the bus, and the driver passed without stopping in the waiting area and checking if there is anyone who is leaving the, just because he was late, and that caused me some stress to figure out how to reach to the airport on time since every 40 min the bus pass.
So hotel/bus company please advice your personal for please before they didn’t see passengers, just check with the receptionist or security guy if there is any guest leaving or put a big board telling where the passenger has to stand and then the driver can see it👍

It was okay for overnight. It was clean and had hot water in the bathroom and a comfortable bed and wifi, but it had now plugs to charge the phones or ubs devises. There was no ice machine or vending machine. The waiter only worked during supper hours, at other times there was no one in the restaurant. When checking in the desk clerk's English.

This was a nice place near the airport. Rooms were very nice. They have shuttle service but it’s very crowded and only runs every 40 minutes. Plan well and depending on which property you stay at will determine if you sit or stand. On our pick up from the airport our driver forgot to stop at our hotel=60 minute shuttle ride. This service is provided by a 3rd party according to the very nice staff person, maybe they need to add a shuttle.
