We had the double room with a hot tub. I dont think using the hot tub would be safe, you could feel the floor moving as we walked. You could tell things hadnt been deep cleaned in some time. The bedding was nice and newer, tv and both air conditioners worked well. $88 for such a large room makes it hard to complain, but we wouldnt stay again. Check in staff was polite - we had to check in at the building next door.

The room we stayed in was clean, just basic. We stayed at the budget inn and they make it very clear through the booking and on the lobby door of the budget inn that you checkin/out at the Thunderbird Inn next door. The rooms were basic and felt equal to the affordable price we paid. The pools were not open but it was a cold memorial day weekend trip. I got to bring my dog for only $25 for the whole 4 nights. It was a great stay, it was quiet. I wish there was more lighting outside for when I walked my dog at night, but not a big deal! Good place, staff was helpful and kind!!

The area in front of our room was a playground area, not a parking lot. So we were lost looking for our room at 11pm. Our hotel did not have an open lobby, you actually had to check in at an adjoining hotel. No breakfast. It was small and a little dirty. There wasn’t a luggage rack or dresser to put our luggage on. The bathroom counter didn’t abutt the wall, so our toothbrush fell to the floor in this area. Gross!

This is a scam. The number provided for the property was incorrect. The number for the property on its website was also incorrect.
I contacted who I thought was the front desk and they said that there was no such place. They said I did not have a reservation.
We ended up driving an additional six hours that night to find lodging. This was supposed to be a halfway point in our journey.
I am contacting my financial institution and the Better Business Bureau

I do not recommend this property to anyone. Check in was a 45 minute process. I booked a king bed room tried to put me in a queen. Moved us to a property 2 hotels over. The pool was green. The bare minimum of attention is put to maintaining the property. It is rundown and unsafe. The condition of the pools should be reported to the county health department.

This was an amazing find for the price. We stayed only one night on our Roadtrip to Niagara Falls. While the outside of the motel is dated and showing weathered. The rooms are some of the cleanest I have seen and I have seen a lot of hotel/motel rooms. You can tell that they have done some updating such as new linens, the softest hotel towels I’ve ever had, new tub/shower surround. Beds were comfy but pillows were a bit small but luckily we brought our own. Furniture a bit dated but in really good shape. I would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Arrived late, full parking, for 2-nights, our first night spend in overwhelmingly mold-smelling room, w/ice-blocked freezer, dirty entrance door by the lock. 2 friends slept in one bed, because the second bed contained used sheets. Office's 300yd away in neighboring building, refused early checkout- offered a move...to smallest room I ever seen (my closet size) single-bed with one-foot-around, one chair, tiny round table all-occupied by microwave, and leaking toilet.
At 1 AM someone's radio ON was \"brainwashing\" through out hotel square with 40 rooms, until dawn! In the morning wanted to share my concerns w/attendant, but quickly changed my mind, noticing his pinky face and other's naked legs up behind the counter!! There's no owner - no honor in this barracks!

The ac unit continuiously froze over. And even the plugs they did have were mostly 2 prong so i couldnt even use my computer withiut unpluging the microwave. Also while u was booked at the mackinaw budget in. It seems starlite, mackinaw budget and thunderbird are owned by the same person. I was booked for mackinaw and ended up at starlite.
