Really nice little place. It's older, but very clean, comfy beds. It's being upgraded in a very cute, old roadside hotel way. Beautiful pool. Really big with doors to outside and a hot tub. Close to town. Staff were very nice. Everything for my reservation was ready when I arrived. There is a tiny old school elevator. Some people might be scared of it although it worked perfectly. If you use a wheelchair, however, I'd request a 1st floor room. I don't think a motorized chair (a manual would be tight) would fit in the elevator. Small fridge, microwave and coffee maker all clean as can be. I'll stay there again! It's a small family run hotel and I felt very comfortable there.

4th of july stay was ok. I arrived with 6 people, my wife 3 kids and 1 of their friends. After check in they called my room and instantly seemed upset about too many people, without knowing/asking 2 of the kids weren't staying. The front desk Reminded me they are very strict about only having 4 people per room, which was ok because only 4 of us were staying the night. The next morning the kids wanted to swim, we went down at 948am the pool opens at 10am, I was told by the worker, \"pool opens at 10am and your checkout is at 11am so you'll only have about an hour to swim, so you still have to wait 12 more minutes\" my response was that my checkout was the next day at 11am so I have 24hrs to swim. He was shocked and didnt knw i was staying 2 days, seemed kinda rude to assume. Breakfast was sub par, basic cereal and bagels. Staff seemed off-putting and just a very odd vibe from the start. Overall stay was ok, nothing great nothing bad, rooms are dated, small tv, doors struggle to shut because new carpet was installed over old carpet, pool was clean.

Staff who greeted us on our arrival was friendly and very accomodating. Our room and the hotel looks clean, hot tub was relaxing. Breakfast was basic. Cereal, coffee, milk, orange juice, boiled egg, toast, yogurt, and a selection of apple or banana. If you are a heavy breakfast eater this will probably not be a good fit for you but it kept us on the go. We enjoyed our stay.

It was a very pleasant stay. I stayed there for two days and it was lovely. The Staff is so helpful, i would give special appreciation for his commendable attitude. All amenities are included and is very close the Mackinaw Island and bridgeview point . You can get a shuttle for sheplers feryy, saves you 15 dollar!!!. Strongly recoomend the place.

Bathroom was OK, but lacked a place to set our toiletries bag, toothbrushes, etc. The sink had narrow, slightly tilted edges, so hardly anything would stay in place. A shelf in the bathroom would be a big improvement. The hot water took a loooong time to get hot but eventually did get hot. Long supply line?

The bed was fantastic! Room was clean and comfortable. I had an issue with the front desk regarding room rates. He was telling me the room on Expedia wasn’t available but a more expensive room was. Said they were full. I asked about the hot tub and he said they were not busy! I felt scammed but the bed was so comfortable!! When we left in the morning around 8:45, the lobby was locked so we didn’t get out continental breakfast or a cup of coffee!!!

First time staying here and we’ll definitely be back. Our room was clean, had plenty of towels and a coffee pot that made 4 cups of coffee! We stayed right across from the pool, which was nice. The pool/hot tub area was well taken care of. The floor was non slip, there were lots of chairs and lounges. We did not eat breakfast but it was included. All and all a nice stay and the owner was a very nice man!

Booked the room click had a pet got there and charged me another $35 for having a dog. The room we were put in must be the ones they put the people with dogs and my dog could not rest as he just was smelling everything. Been in hotels before he didn’t act like that. The heater did not work the room, it was absolutely freezing. I slept in pants, socks and a hoodie!

While they were in the middle of renovations, you’d never know it. Staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating, esp because we checked in at almost midnight. The building and rooms are very clean, quiet, beds are so comfy and the location is a prime spot to reach the snowmobile trails. The pool area was very nice and relaxing as well. The room was very dusty, the window was cracked open at the top, the Inn was under remodeling, the hot tub had a green film around it and they advertise as having continental breakfast and they offered a muffin or bagel, I assume in a bag. Also, the fire alarms went off at 2:49 am because of humidity in the pool room. Overall, very disappointing, especially since we spent the night there after being engaged.

The room WAS clean and the staff that I encountered WAS friendly but a $50 room holding fee at the end of October in a summer tourist town is absolutely disgusting especially when there are only 4 vehicles in the lot 2 of which clearly must be employees not to mention the breakfast was cold and when I say cold I mean refrigerated French toast and stale bagels only recommend if you NEED a place to sleep

The variety of the breakfast was adequate for a continental breakfast. I however prefer a hot breakfast so I went out. The pool and the hot tub were awesome. The pool was a little cool but once you got out of the hot tub, it was very refreshing.the rooms were clean and well stocked With the things that you need to stay there with shampoo’s body wash conditioners were all full hand soaps at the sink were full ….. toilet tissue was adequate towels were adequate plenty of towels at the pool and love the fact that there is a bathroom and a shower at the pool site so you can get in the shower and rinse all the chlorine off before you go back to your room. The staff were extremely pleasant thoroughly enjoyed my stay and will definitely come back again throughout the coming year. Hope everyone has a blessed and wonderful holiday season.

My first time staying in Saint Ignace we chose the voyager. My expectations weren’t high because it’s an old building however it could have been much better than it was. We were given a room on second floor which meant we had to use the elevator to get our luggage up there. The elevator was very small and looked like a closet. My boyfriend said no way is he getting in there so I rode up with the luggage. It was scary. We got to the room 213 and our keys wouldn’t work. I took the keys back to the front desk and she made some adjustments and gave them back. I went back up and they still didn’t work. Went back down and asked for another room. She put us in 113 which was downstairs. Now we have to take everything back downstairs. We get to room 113 and keys worked. After being there for about 20 min we decided to take off. When we got back around 8:00pm we were there for about 30min and noticed a leak in the ceiling. There was dripping in 2 spots above the jacuzzi tub. We went back to the front desk and she gave us another room. We had to go back upstairs. This ended up being our last move thank god. She mentioned they would compensate us however not sure if that happened because there was no one to speak to when we left. This place needs some love. We won’t be back.

The staff was very friendly and helpful with advice. The motel is very clean. They let out car remain in the motel lot while we took the ferry to Mackinaw Island.

We reserved 2 rooms both had blood drops in the bathroom, room 221 toilet seat had a lot of long hair on the seat.
The corridor was smelly.

It was nice to have a jetted tub in the room and the option to go swimming or use the hotel hot tub. Staff were helpful and provided suggestions for what to do in the area & good places to eat.

At first we didn't know what we were walking into but from the friendly lady at the front counter to the state park across the street we were really glad to have stayed here! The room was over all clean could have had a bigger TV but that's it.
