No refrigerator or microwave. Bed was awful. Dated motel. Tiny tv. No breakfast. I would not recommend staying here.
Gina
The room smelled very musky I had to buy a candle to help mask it ! Room was old - wallpaper peeling ! I asked for room service and never got it ! View was nice !
Amy
Awesome view and location !
Nancy
Great location. Very clean. We walked to dinner from hotel.
James
Room was almost unusable. I smelled of years of smoke. Had doubt about the sheets and mgr came and changed them and ignored comments about the smell. The odd part was the property is in great condition but the room is what I care about.
Timothy
I would stay there again. I wish there was a microwave in the room, but that was about it. Well maintained and great view of the Bridge.
Fang
At arrival the front desk asked if we would like to upgrade to King Room, we did for additional fees, which is alright. But the room is terrible. When we get in it has weird smell, mouldy smell. The AC is so loud like a tractor running. If you have food or drinks put into the mini fridge, please double check the plug and make sure it turned on, it was set to OFF, even though we plugged in but did not know have to turn it on so all food and drinks all “warmed up” in that fridge. Not all room has “Bridge view”, that’s understandable. Overall, set very minimal expectation here and just like a motel, basic. Not worth the cost at all.
Linda
I was very disappointed. No refrigerator, no microwave, no breakfast these were all in the amenities. Also you had to cross the road for the use of Lake Huron but no real beach to swim. I will never stay there again I paid a lot of money for nothing.
Margaret
Although the room was clean and comfortable, it smelled strongly of Pinesol. They advertised breakfast but breakfast was not provided and the exercise room was not accessible.
On a positive, the pool was good and it was close to the park and within walking distance to the center of Mackinac City.

Perfect location. Friendly and helpful staff. Very clean especially for an older facility. I would stay there again.

We booked this hotel through Hotels.com for two nights, but we left after the first night because of the poor experience.
The lady at the front desk came across as having a bad attitude. The check-in process felt extremely outdated. There was no computer at the front desk. Instead, they checked my name from a handwritten list and asked me to fill out a paper form with my information. It felt like stepping back several decades.
The room had a very strong, unpleasant odor. The smell was so bad that it gave us headaches. Also, there was no shampoo or body wash in the room. The tissue box was practically empty, with only two tissues left. Besides, the hotel charged me more than $11 above the price quoted by Hotels.com, so I ended up paying more for a very disappointing experience.
Because of the unbearable smell in the room, we checked out after only one night.
When I filed a complaint through Hotels.com, I was told that the hotel claimed I should have informed them about the odor and the missing amenities so they could address the issues. I found that response ridiculous. It’s like going to a restaurant, ordering a meal, and being served an empty plate, then having the manager tell you that you should have mentioned that you expected food. Guests should not have to point out basic cleanliness issues or missing amenities that should already be provided. This response suggests that the hotel does not understand the fundamentals of hospitality or how to properly treat guests.

From the outside it looks like a nice place, the room was clean but there were ants in the bathroom. There was a fridge in the closet but no microwave, the room was dark as there is only one lamp on the nite table. The room is sadly lacking ac outlets and no lamp near the table. We have never seen a coffee pot like the one there, when you pour the coffee it leaks out over everything, also there was only one pack of coffee, we had to go ask for more. Also nothing but powdered creamer, yuk! For what this costed for the night I expected more, the Quality Inn I stayed at in the UP was less money and was the best on this trip. I would not stay here again.
MERCEY
Great budget stay near the bridge and the downtown of Mackinaw City. You can get slightly discounted tickets for the ferry right at the hotel desk and there is a shuttle that runs you to the dock. The hotel was very clean, one of cleanest I've stayed in. Room was in a quiet corner of the property so it was nice not to hear elevators and other guests coming and going. Man at desk was super helpful and very courteous.
William
The place was nice place and perfect location for viewing the bridge. Staff was nice and helpful. Clean rooms.
Only flaw was the room decor. It’s about 50 years past its prime. Rooms are well maintained just old looking decor

We booked this very last minute and were super happy with it! The room was very clean and it was just feet from the bridge and the fort! It’s a great location and the price was insanely affordable!
Tracy
Check in was quick and easy. The rooms were big and clean. And that view....
Oene
Ants in the room. they sprayed and said, leave the door open to air out. :(
Betsy
We loved staying here to be able to watch the bridge traffic so up close! We stayed in room 203!

Easy to find and park. Historic park just nearby, so not brand new, spic and span vibe. Quite adequate for an overnight visit.

Great location and a great hotel. The view of the bridge was the best. The pool was awesome as well. I'd stay here again!
Natalie
Okay Stay: Cleanliness Wins, needs a Freshening Up
Even though we stayed in the unit with the view of the bridge, it was quiet at night. The room was a bit stale. We ran the air conditioner to help with the smell. We stayed 4 nights. The cleaning service did a nice job every day. The washer and dryer were clean when we did laundry. Not sure if we would stay their again though.
Sherry
We had a great experience. We would definitely be coming back.
Janice
We liked the property, but missed the breakfast we expected. My granddaughter was able to sketch the bridge from our room, which was very nice. She is visually impaired, but being on the second floor allowed her to get a great view.
Scott
Motel was in a nice quiet area, Room was clean, Pool area was nice and well kept, Hot Tub could be hotter. Beautiful view of the lake and bridge We'll be back when we visit again.
ELIZABETH
Location was great!
Jane
Comfortable room, friendly staff. A little traffic noise from the bridge but not enough to keep me awake.
Debra
Room had no micro or mini fridge. Towels were thin. Pillows were awful. For the money, no breakfast options.
Christina
Stayed for 3 nights over July 4th. Conveniently located. Beautiful view of the bridge. Hotel was clean the rooms could use updating. The staff was very nice to deal with. Would stay again.
Tom
Beautiful view of the Mackinac Bridge. Across the street from park on Lake Superior. Small, but very nice and clean room. Family-owned business staffed by very friendly and polite family members. Would definitely stay here again.
Shawn
Management kept a good eye on his property and was very spotless with it.
Tyler
Dated motel, but still in good condition. The gentleman at check in was very kind and helpful. Room was clean and the views of the bridge were great!
stan

KRISTAL
Loved staying here! Everything was really clean and the view was beautiful! We could see the bridge right from our window!
Dave
There was no microwave and no coffee in the office and no Continental breakfast would be nice to have something even if it just donut holes and orange juice orange juice
Karthikeyan
Little dated but clean and good for a nights stay
Ann I
Easy check in on line. No issue once there. Good parking and clean room. Comfortable bed and quite area. Easy to get back to main road.
Laurie
Would NOT stay here again.
Kristy
Loved the hotel, but the noise from the road/bridge was very loud.
Bethany
Great view. Only thing better would be breakfast
Rhonda
It served the purpose since we were just there for a couple of days. The TV was not working, I believe they don’t have cable on site, elevators were a bit slow & the parking area was dark and kinda scary when returning later in the evening. Staff seemed nice and helpful. It’s a convenient spot with a great view away from the busy city traffic.
joanne
the property had a great view but rooms are dated. shower only had a curtain. shower head extremely old. bed was confrontable. while checking in agent was not as pleasant as i would have expected. next to the bridge was very noisy but the view was awesome! had a bridgeview room.
Jay
This property was wonderful! Had an awesome view of the bridge. There is a park across the street that walks out to the lake. Very close to downtown that you could walk or drive too. We will stay there again.

Loved the location, the cleanliness, everything.
Randy
Good location for the property but it was noisy, very basic room, one microwave for the entire property. Over priced for what you get.
Regina
Gnats flying about the room. Dirty towel left from previous guest.
Scott
Over priced! No breakfast, smelly room! Very dated and can't even provide in room amenities. Community microwave for 300 plus a night??look elsewhere
Cynthia
Love the Bridge View. Room was very clean and we had a
lot of towels. Pool was clean and so was the hot tub. We all loved our rooms and owners. This is the best hotel in Mackinaw City.

We had a great stay
Robert
Great location for bridge walk nice and clean tv had issues need better lightning in bathroom.
Jeanna
Amazing view. Clean comfortable room.
Gray
Perfect for our stay of 4 days. The only thing I could ask for would be a microwave. Fridge was nice but would like a way to reheat leftovers. No bike rack for our two bikes but it wasn’t a problem as theft seems to be a non issue in the area.
Kelly
Bed was to hard and pillows to flat
Ann
Older property. Smelled like smoke or very musky. Family enjoyed pool. Great view of Mackinac bridge, lakes, and lighthouse.

Very clean and very comfy
Jamie
The staff was nice and helpful. It was a basic stay. The indoor pool was chilly amd the hot tub was not \"hot tub\" warm. You signed in via writing in a card. It was clean.

It was very nice, clean and we had a great view. First hotel in forever that the staff didn’t come in and dump trash and give us fresh towels every day. Also had a bunch of tiny black ants crawling in the bathroom floor.
