Property is not on the beach, was promised a refund by hotel employees and had a back and forth for about two weeks with the property, ultimately they said I was a “no show” when I was at their property spoke to their employees, promised a refund and then booked another hotel from their lobby. Blatantly lying about the no show just to not honour the refund. If you want to golf and stay by the pool this place is for you, if you want the “resort” experience with a beach and grand property go and stay some where else.

Over all experience was terrible from the start, promises were made and blatant lies were told by the hotel staff and by their reservation department.

My gf and I had an amazing stay at Hyatt Vivid Cancun. Starting from the food to the service, the entire resort experience was fantastic. The property is modern, spotless, and has the perfect adults-only atmosphere for relaxing. The rooftop views at sunset are incredible and the rooms are spacious and comfortable. The real jewel of this resort are the staff and the quality of the food. They are genuinely warm, attentive, and go above and beyond to make you feel welcome every day. Their service truly made the whole experience unforgettable. I’d definitely come back.

We had a really wonderful stay at Hyatt Vivid Grand Island overall! The property is beautiful, the atmosphere is relaxing, and the staff truly made the experience special.

A huge highlight was dining at the Italian restaurant. Raul provided exceptional service — he was warm, attentive, and went out of his way to make our evenings memorable. He really added a personal touch that made the stay feel extra special. Fabio from VIP Services was also fantastic. He was incredibly helpful, friendly, and made sure everything went smoothly during our visit.

The only downside was our room’s location. It seemed to be near a loading dock or service area, and every morning around 4 a.m. there was quite a bit of noise that woke me up. It didn’t ruin the trip, but it did make the early mornings a bit rough.

Aside from that issue, we had a great experience and truly appreciated the hospitality from the staff — especially Raul and Fabio. They made a big difference in our stay.

Went on a girl’s trip and this hotel exceded our expectations. I’ve been to a lot of all inclusive hotels and Hyatt Vivid had by far better food, great drinks, live music and beautiful comfortable rooms.
The beach club is beautiful, just try and get there early because lounge chairs fill up fast.
The gym was also wonderful.
The staff were exceptional.

The hotel was just perfect for us. We did Vantage and it was so worth it. Pools were a bit chilly but not overcrowded. The beach club was nice but we had to wait for the second return bus for 20+minutes because the first one got full. The property looked very new and clean, not too big and not too many amenities or activities, but they had enough. Restaurants honestly could be better, we tried Japanese, Mediterranean and Italian, they were all good but not great. If you drink Coke Zero, you gotta go Vantage or else they won't serve you the zero. Our room was clean and beautiful, the view of a golf course was very nice. Would love to come back.

Beautiful hotel & beach club. We stayed at breathless a couple nights before which we also loved, but Hyatt Vivid is less of a party scene and a little fancier appearing. Recommend joining advantage club for rooftop pool access, top shelf liquor and private lounge/concierge + added discounts. We had a great stay the staff was very nice and accommodating to food restrictions/allergies.

Dear Guest Relations Manager,

I am writing to formally express my deep dissatisfaction regarding my recent stay at Hyatt Vivid Grand Island in Cancun from [insert dates].

Unfortunately, our experience did not meet the standards expected from a Hyatt property. The quality of the food was consistently below expectations, lacking freshness, variety, and proper presentation. Additionally, the level of service throughout the resort was disappointing. Staff responsiveness was poor, and several requests were either delayed excessively or not addressed at all.

One of the most frustrating incidents involved the steak restaurant. From the beginning of our stay, we specifically requested a reservation and were informed that the restaurant would be open and that we could book it for Saturday evening. However, when Saturday arrived, we were told the restaurant was closed. We were previously informed that it would only be closed on Monday — not Saturday.

We then asked to be accommodated on Sunday instead, and were told that arrangements would be made for us. However, when we checked the app, it again showed the restaurant as closed on Sunday. Surprisingly, due to our late checkout, we were still at the resort on Sunday and personally saw that the steak restaurant was in fact open and operating that evening.

This situation left us feeling misled and extremely disappointed. We were clearly given inaccurate information multiple times, which prevented us from experiencing one of the main

The wait staff was very friendly and always willing to go the extra mile. Our room was fine but the mini bar and coffee station needed to be restocked better. Check in was disappointing. We paid extra for Vantage club and would have liked more accommodations with that. Most of the bars didn't have draft beer. Overall the food, service, and amenities were good but not great.

Our anniversary stay at Hyatt Vivid Grand Island Resort exceeded every expectation and truly delivered the relaxing, luxury getaway we were hoping for. From the moment we arrived, the Vantage Club experience stood out — personalized check-in, attentive service, beautiful exclusive spaces, and staff who consistently anticipated our needs before we even asked. The elevated level of hospitality made us feel genuinely valued throughout our stay.

A special thank you to Oscar, one of the bellmen, whose wonderful service made a lasting impression. From our warm welcome at check-in, to his friendly assistance throughout our stay, and his thoughtful help at checkout, Oscar consistently went above and beyond to ensure everything was seamless and enjoyable.

Our room was immaculate, beautifully appointed, and incredibly comfortable. Housekeeping maintained it flawlessly each day, allowing us to fully unwind and enjoy the stunning resort atmosphere. Waking up to peaceful views, enjoying coffee on the balcony, and ending evenings in such a serene space made the trip feel extra special.

Dining throughout the resort was excellent overall. Nearly every restaurant offered delicious meals, creative presentations, and wonderful service. The only exception during our visit was the Mediterranean restaurant; however, what impressed us most was how seriously leadership took guest feedback. This was our second stay with this property and we will continue to come back in the future. The check-in process was even more pleasant this time as we gained access to the Vantage Club due to my Expedia Gold status. We were also given a free bottle of wine and access to the rooftop bar / pool for Vantage Club member. The rooms are always clean and modern. The double head in the showers and sink in the bathroom is always great. The amenities, food quality and drink accessibility is great with the property. We felt the variety of activities lacked a bit on the second time visiting and the room service was only provided via calling from the room instead of ordering on the hotel app like it used to be. Nonetheless, we love this property and the staff and we will be returning next year.

I would like to give a shout out to Rumbia at the beach bar he definitely goes above and beyond. Also to Mario at the roof top vantage pool area. Only one thing that I would say they could improve on is the beach club if you don’t get there early enough then it’s impossible to get a spot wish there were more lounge chairs available. When we were checking in, we were told that next time we should book directly with the hotel and not with Expedia. They tried to sell us on a bunch of different things and it just felt a bit unprofessional and really not a great way to stay the trip.

Facilities were great, service was also great once you speak english. We noticed that being a native Spanish speaker we did not receive the same courtesies as English speaking guests. Crazy right especially at the restaurants. Day one my room had no hand soap, minor issue but details matter. I did not like the fact that I could hear the pool music up to my room into the evening. Room service was always on point. NO beach front was also no bueno!

We had an amazing stay at Hyatt Vivid Grand Island. The resort itself is absolutely beautiful, clean, modern, and well-maintained with a great overall vibe. The staff was outstanding from start to finish: friendly, attentive, and always willing to help with anything we needed.

The food was very good with plenty of options, and the drinks never stopped, service around the resort was fast and consistent, and the bartenders were great.

The only disappointment we had was when we tried to rebook for next year, we didn’t really get much support or guidance in getting it set up, which was surprising considering how excellent everything else was.

Overall, we loved our trip and would absolutely recommend this resort. We’d return in a heartbeat.

The room had no heat, and after four times the maintenance guy did fix it however, his boss came in and was very threatening. I actually had to ask him to leave the room four separate times and he would not leave. He was very aggressive. We came to Mexico to get warm. It was real bad. Also, the tub did not work and flooded the room if it was filled up.

I had an amazing time here, I went to celebrate my birthday with my mom and the staff was amazing and so kind. I’d like to give a special thanks to Liza and Alejandro for making my private dinner experience at the Oishii rooftop restaurant a beautiful and memorable moment. I want to thank Diego who was very attentive to us on the pool deck on the ground level floor. Big thank you to Hugo at the rooftop vantage club for breakfast and lunch, his service was excellent, very pleased to have encountered him during my stay and lastly Dyanna from the buffet during breakfast and lunch was super friendly and made us feel so welcomed to be there everytime very funny as well.
The staff mentioned all stood out on the grounds of excellent service and hospitality. It has made a lasting impression on me and I would definitely recommend this hotel especially for the caliber of service I received. The environmental service staff was also very helpful and friendly. Thank you Hyatt Vivid!!

Unfortunately if you don’t have the vantage package be prepare to noticed better treatment to those that are vantage, which is there premium package. I ask to be moved from a table for better view and they moved the table next to me because they were vantage and did not move us although there were tables available. In addition, the entertainment was not he best is more on the boring side. I don’t recommend it for a younger couple or anyone that wants to experience the Mexican culture . They don’t play any Mexican music and the prices for activities are triple than if you go on adventures on your own.

Wow, wow, wow. This was our first visit to Cancun and our first stay at an all-inclusive resort, and our expectations were blown away. The hotel is beautiful with well-appointed rooms and views of the golf course and lagoon. The rooftop infinity pool is not to be missed! We enjoyed all of the restaurants, but Oishi was our favorite! The staff were incredible - 5-star service. We would stay here again without hesitation and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a luxury experience in Cancun!

This was our second stay at this hotel. It’s stunning. Rooms (even the most basic) are beautiful and very comfortable. The food is delicious. The rooftop pool is amazing. The beach club is incredible.

BUT - it’s the second time we get gastroenteritis at this hotel. The first time we didn’t make much of it. But a second time is a pattern. We have traveled to different resorts in Mexico 2x a year for 10 years and we have only ever gotten sick at this hotel. Do with this information as you wish.

We were lucky to have such incredible service. The food was fantastic. And I don’t know how they did it, but everything smelled fantastic.
We would definitely love to return and stay again. My personal favorite was sunrise yoga on the rooftop with Cristal. She was the best!!! We greatly enjoyed this wellness focused getaway.

Specifically Alexis from Dalias, Armando from the Mediterranean restaurant Calderon and Diana at the buffet, Ceasar with the water activities was so engaging and made it very fun, Olivera serving us at the pool.The whole staff was very welcoming the entire stay. We had issues with our toilet and they came the next day while we were out and they took care of it as per our request on the app. The beach club was also perfect. Great seating. Food and staff was always available for anything.

The food is great with lots of options. Staff are very friendly including the entertainers. The beach club is nice and private. There’s always a waiter asking what you want to drink on the beach, they bring everything to you all day.

Everything was exceptional. The views from our room and the rooftop were amazing. Ocean at the beach club was nice. Only complaint would be the sand at the beach club was full of cigarette buts and quite a few bandages even a tampon applicator.

This hotel says it has 11 restaurants to choose from, but bear in mind that only half of the building has been finished and the Dreams family resort is still being completed.
Rooms were quite nice with the sea or lagoon view, but the general quality of the restaurants is nothing to go back for or noticeable to remember

Rooms were great. Food was spectacular, and I’d like to highlight the Japanese cuisine at the rooftop restaurant, chefs kiss!! The resort is new and very clean with awesome entertainment to keep guests entertained. Great views from the rooftop, the only negative feed back I have is that we wish the rooftop pool was heated or needed to be heated more to be comfortable to use.
